Chapter 28

Nick had retracted his fist that was on fire as Cooper's skin had regenerated quicker than Nick would have liked it to, Cooper was grinning as his body was twitching randomly as he stared right back at Nick who was bound to lose in the end though Cooper did have little entertainment while he was in his coma. Cooper then proceeded to run at Nick as he jumped up and kick Nick's face with full force with both feet harshly, Nick fell back on the ground groaning as he felt his face sting really badly causing his nose to bleed badly. Nick got up proceeding to let all the fire spread throughout his body except for his face as he aimed a lot of tiny beams of fire that moved in different direction burning and cutting through Cooper's skin trying to cut pieces of his flesh off, Cooper's limbs came off then as quickly as they came off they reattached themselves and healed from the burns. Nick hesitated for a moment as he saw the grin that Cooper was giving him was almost similar to Boo's wide grin except Cooper wasn't showing his gums but his smile was so wide it stretch all the way up to his ears, Cooper then began walking towards him still jerking and twitching badly as he went to stab Nick with his razor sharp fingers. Cooper's eyes were so bloodshot along with those wide eyes that were staring right through Nick who was frozen for a moment before he shot several tiny beams at Cooper's limbs so that he couldn't try to stab Nick who was currently dodging Cooper's attempts to stab him with all his might.

Cooper's body was still regenerating so he body slammed Cooper harshly to the ground and used his magic shoot spikes from the ground that instantly rose up from under Cooper's head, they went right through Cooper's brain causing him to go limp for a moment as brain matter and blood sprayed everywhere. The spikes broke to dust as Cooper's head put itself back together quickly after and he threw Nick off him and continued to try to stab him with his razor sharp fingers with this wide smile and he managed to cut Nick's legs not to harshly to Cooper's disappointment. Nick was trying to guide Cooper away from both near locations as he tried talking to Cooper about how this wasn't him, Cooper only continued to smile at him and let several bugs crawl out of a deep cut he made on his wrist with his razor sharp fingers and these bugs followed Coopers command as they crawled all over Cooper. Nick then held his mouth shut then spat out a lot of acid that killed off Cooper's little pests quickly because Nick was already dealing with one piece of shit and he didn't want more than one already. Nick had no idea what shit that Cooper did in his coma to be stronger than he was at first, several guards tried to help Nick in battle though they failed as Cooper killed them off easily by sucking out all their magic from their bodies leaving only death behind afterwards.

Now all over the battle field lay several guards who had families waiting for them at home only for them to never stand and go home to them after Cooper had basically sucked out their souls growing stronger by each soul he consumed, Nick managed to rip Cooper's flesh only for him to regenerate the burned charred skin Nick had damaged badly. An explosion ensued as Nick threw a fire ball that made a explosion that made Cooper and Nick get thrown back and there was pure light for a moment as no one could see then there was Cooper and Nick still glaring at each other harshly while Cooper's skin was red from the burn. Nick had gotten his beatings from Cooper just as fairly as well since Cooper had left several cuts on Nick's back as they bled making Nick wince from the pain, Cooper wasn't being played like the fool he looked to be and he was getting sick of trying to put up with Nick's stupid 'hero' behavior already. He hated that Nick dare think he could beat Cooper who had gone through torturous hours of training only for a brat like Nick to try to play the part of the 'hero' for the kingdom, Cooper hated that bullshit more than anything right now especially if it was coming from Nick the guy who had been weakly eaten by Boo without knowing it.

Cooper couldn't go back even if he wanted to, he never really wanted to play by all the rules so now he has a smile on his face as he plays the part of the fool in front of everyone not caring if he kept on dying because of Nick constantly trying to stop him. Nick could go and kill him since he's able to and Cooper knew if he could just stab Nick in his the forehead then it would be over quickly yet he kept telling himself that he dug his grave so he'll now lay in it without a fight. Cooper kept coming back after death which was great if he needed to win, if he wanted Nick to hesitate he needed to cause Nick to think that he was sad and that he didn't want to do this anymore which would be hard for Cooper to do since he didn't feel any bit sorry. Why can't Nick just understand that'll he'll keep fighting and that Nick should just be dying because Cooper was stronger than him in everything?! Nick claims to be the child with a sword and shield to everyone as he fights Cooper but he knew Nick will fail as their Dad could beat their Father beyond recognition so why did Nick think he could fight with a quarter if their Father's puny magic, it made Cooper want to laugh to the point he'll have tears in his eyes. It's a battle between the two of them and it is just a matter of time until Cooper kills Nick with the hatred he holds in him hoping to show Nick that he should be scared of him instead of trying to win against him, unlike Nick who thinks he was born for peace Cooper knows that he was born to give his Dad the deserved revenge against Father for forcing him through all the pain he felt.
