Cooper wasn't to disturbed by the sight of a man eating his flesh as everyone there had their own problems amd solutions so if eating his flesh calmed him down then just let him do it until he's calm enough. Cooper had a bit of fun hanging out with the other patients at lunch who acted nice to welcome him there as he had the start of an awesome night so he had a lot of fun with knowing that there was a chance others understand what his situation may be like more than those who are sane without needing to be watched. Cooper had already knew how these things worked like how the people who work here experiment on the people who turned insane to the point they were marked even to dangerous to be used as weapons as they didn't listen to anyone, well anyone but Dad who was the old leader here as he had a record of being sent here because of reasons that no one talks about as it was to graphic to be written down, which I can respect if they decided that it was to much for people to read years after that happened. Cooper could understand why they experimented on these people because they were indeed anomalies when it came to their magic as it also got corrupted for some unknown reason that they are searching for as they wish to probably stop more Sprites from turning out the same way as those they kept in cells, not many people knew where they were kept or who they were as they only knew when someone went insane which was rare yet still highly possibly to happen to anyone. Yet Cooper didn't get experimented on as much as he was still royal and they were... Afraid of him for reason mostly unknown besides what he thinks is because his Dad was a beast when he was kept there as there was a old poster he saw that said

"Beware Sprite 99999 as he is dangerous and can hurt you even if you do no harm. If he breaks out report it before he causes a end of the world situation for us all!" Then a picture on his young Dad who smiled at the camera innocently.

When they actually experimented on Cooper they only wanted to see how far Cooper could go or how his body worked now thanks to his Dad's magic/Bean and Bean was upset cause he didn't like people coming near Cooper without freaking out while yelling to Cooper to kill them for being so close to them, it wasn't a big deal to Cooper who let them do what they want. None of their stupid weapons could hurt him or at least make him wince as they were pretty weak as Cooper could make them so much netter weapons if he had his own materials to do so, for now he just needed to go along with what they wanted so they can help him get better since he wanted to be well enough for Lin and his family who probably already hated him even more than they did when he was sane and happy. Cooper got medicine that helped him balanced his the levels of his magic so that he doesn't have to much to the point it gains control of him, it also helps him make enough do that he can use it still but for nothing to big that will use up ro much id his energy as using up all your energy while casting a spell you may turn insane. You can still casts spells even without much magic left in you which seems cool, it was later discovered you shall never do this even in a life threatening fight unless your current king tells you to as almost immediately after you turn insane as soon as the spell is done being casted so there was not much exceptions. Many patients all looked up to Cooper's Dad all groaning and smiling at the mention of him in any way so Cooper wondered why the heck they adored his Dad so much, yet they suddenly took interest in Cooper after sensing his Dad's magic in him.

They all got this crazy idea in their heads that Cooper would be the one to turn them back to normal with his magic so that they can finally be free from the ward that they grown pained to be in everyday, Cooper tried telling them he wasn't what they thought he was to no avail. Thankfully visiting hours were open and the guards told him that his family came to visit him there, this made Cooper groan a bit before he went to the visitation stations that were rarely used to come see his family. Cooper had not much to say as they scolded him for causing this big of a mess for them to fix as Cooper drowns then out thinking of waht to do about Cooper being expected to free them from their obsessions so they'd be able to join society with their families again. He honestly didn't have it in him to deny them as they all seemed so happy saying so many things as they all grew excited because they all had the delusion Cooper would be the one to free them so that's why he came to the ward in the first place. They were all exclaiming to him with such happiness as Cooper was unsure what to do as they all seemed excited by each passing minute with him saying a lot of things bringing the excitement higher than ever before as they add more to it each time making them look at Cooper as if he was a god that had listened to their pain and came to free them.
