Chapter 38

Cole and Greed were in Cole's room in shock as they didn't expect what they saw at the hospital after they stuck around to see who Wrath's parents were, they didn't expect Martin and Shane to be his parents as there was no hints that they could see that made them think that Martin and Shane were possibly Wrath's parents as there was nothing they really saw that alerted them that those 2 were Wrath's parents besides maybe the job thing as those 2 always came home late thanks to the things they needed to finish. They went outside to get something to eat wondering if Wrath was doing well at the hospital but they already both agreed that after they ate that they would visit him until they heard a man start screaming and holding his head as his family tried to calm him down, he then began to glitch out as his hair began to grow and his skin began to melt as his screams became more distorted by the second. The man was doing the impossible by melting and he was trying to attack his wife until Martin and Shane came in and the boy they saw with Martin and Shane at the hospital explain to the family that he was going to be taken to the psych ward, the scene they saw with the man was terrifying as he seemed absolutely fine then he began to scream and hold his head in what seemed like pain as his family was confused as he was being friendly and himself then the next minute he was someone else. He was screaming how he can't stop himself with a distorted voice to Martin and Shane as they held him down then he was screaming how he has to melt and needed to melt repeatedly as he was going crazy about needing to melt and he wasn't listening to Martin and Shane who were trying to ask him what he was feeling, the man wasn't answering anymore as he was going wild and it seemed like he could stop the process of him turning into a Parasite as he screamed loudly and that scream was like nothing they ever heard come from a person and began to try to attack his wife as Martin and Shane tried to stop him from coming any closer to his terrified wife who had their 3 kids behind her as he tried to chomp at her. There was a lot of struggling as he melted right through Shane's arms that were holding the man's waist as he tried to him back from the family who was frozen in place with tears in their eyes at what their loved one who was now trying to hurt them even though he was smiling and laughing with them normally not even half an hour ago was now having to be held down by some of the strongest men that worked for Sarid who hired them for qualities no one else had in the kingdom.

The new Parasite was about to make it to his old family who were behind Ted who calmly sat there not afraid by the new aggressive Parasite that was inches away from his face, he was getting out of Shane's grasp as his body melted slowly through Shane's arms like if he were butter until Martin grabbed the man harshly not taking the new Parasites bullshit anymore as he used his magic to make 4 extra arms come out and grab the man and proceeded to say he had the man secure amd walked away with him to take him to the psych ward via teleporter machine to the psych ward. He made it to the machine while the man was still trying to get free as Martin waited for the machine to power on completely to send the 2 of them to the psych ward while Shane wiped off the man's remains on his arms while he and the boy that they saw at the hospital that is probably Wrath's brother were explaining to the family that they would send the man in the psych ward to see if he could go home or be normal again as the family clinged onto every word as they wanted their family member back again but not like how they saw him earlier when he transitioned from a Sprite to a Parasite with not much of a mind anymore. There was not a lot they could say to the family who wanted answers to things no one had the answers to and it was truly disturbing to see a regular man basically melt and try to attack his family on what was supposed to be a regular day for everything in tbe local area until the man started screaming for help as he started to melt in absolute pain as he becomes undone from what he originally was until Martin came used double his amount of strength just so he could hold the man down as Martin and Shane had a little conversation of pain as they always hated this part of their job. The man at first was screaming for Martin and Shane to help him until he began to scream and slam his face into the ground as he melted more and more and became less coherent as he came to attack to his own family who he held dear a few seconds ago until he turned and forgot about them completely as he tried to attack them as he tried to make himself whole again with their magic but of course he was stopped and taken away as the family was escorted back home by Ted who was in his wheelchair behind them to make sure the newfound Parasite didn't come back, the family asked Wrath's brother if there was anything that cod possibly bring him back to them and he was a little to blunt as he hated telling lies to people.
