Chapter 40

10 chapter goal hit-

Cooper was smiling as the guards came and took him out of his room to the exit of the facility as he passed several rooms with Parasites who all waved or nodded at him and his family was right there at the exit not making any eye contact with Cooper as the guards took away the cuffs on Cooper's hands and waved a goodbye as the family went outside with Cooper who was quiet and now frowning which caused chills to go down his siblings backs as they noticed the dead eye look that Cooper had in his eyes. It was a quiet walked to the teleporter that leads to home and once they were there Cody had come and placed the crown on his head quickly before leaving Cooped and the family alone, and Cole, Wrath, and Greed had come as they bowed to Cooper who told them thst they didn't need to bow down before him so they thanked him with smiles as if not scared of Cooper. Cole, Wrath, and Greed were walking side by side with Cooper who talked about making brownies for the other patients to try for the first time and he asked them questions while he let them ask him some as well, they were all hitting it odd pretty well since Cooper was being awfully sweet and excited to talk with them more which made the 3 feel more at ease. Cole and Greed were still on edge and Cooper noticed which made him feel a bit down until he looked at Wrath who seemed happy and comfy near Cooper unlike the other 2 who were trying to not seem uncomfortable but they indeed both were while Wrath was completely confident in coming up to Cooper even with his bad history following behind him. Linnie came bolting up to Cooper and threw them both to the ground as he held Cooper who smiled and hugged back tightly making his dead eyes fade with loving look instead as Linnie was kissing his face all over and hugging him tightly and soon after it seemed that both Wrath Cooper got along better than he did with other 2 who were still scared of Cooper as they didn't like the things they heard about Cooper when he was first taken away to the psych ward for his violent behavior earlier with Nick. It was becoming clear to everyone that Wrath and Cooper were growing closer by the moment as Cooper smiled genuinely at Wrath who smiled back with a small smile that showed no fear as he walked by Cooper's side while everyone else watched from behind as the 2 of them grew closer as Wrath seemed to somehow manage to make it to Cooper's heart and make Cooper trust him as a friend compared to the other w who had yet to gain Cooper's full trust. Cooper still was rough around the edges and everyone heard their conversation after Cooper's stomach growled and he sighed.

"If you are hungry then go and ask for food Cooper." Cooper tried to ignore Wrath's words.

"Why do you wait and mope?" Cooper spilled the beans finally.

"Well, I just lost my family... all my friends probably forever..." Wrath had a confused expression.

"How do you know?" This made Cooper stammer at Wrath's question.

"You are just pitying me! Why am I talking to you?" He asked Wrath aggressively with those dead eyes looking at Wrath.

"You just lost your family and all your friends! You are lonely!" Cooper rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, well your a dead human turned into a Sprite!" Wrath smiled despite that hurtful remark.

"Ah, but that is not match for wishful thinking! If you focus on what you've left behind, you will never be able to see waht lies ahead! Now lets go look around and cheer you up!" Before Cooper could protest Wrath grabbed his arm and dragged him with him.

They went past a restaurant and the baker left some outside to cool and Cooper was going to steal it and eat it and Wrath caught him.
