Cooper's P.O.V.

It was gone just like that before he knew it, his Dad's heartbeat never to be heard again only silence could be heard in that chest of his. If this was like a video game and you could reload then this would never be scary but now his Dad was dead and them leaving only silence. There was no way that someone as nice and sweet like him deserved to go this way and in pain for so long before finally dying. I've been having dreams of Dad and all he does is stare at me with a kind smile and before I can hear what he says, I always wake up or get woken up. Everyone in Dad's kingdom was full of grief and we still don't understand how they cried that harshly at the news. . .Dad did say he was close with everyone but everyone in the kingdom were acting as though their own child died.

We can't be looked at by the villagers or anyone. . . not even Dad's three closest friends without them crying even more when they see us. One if the three friends who wasn't Mr. Bare said quote in quote

'You all look so much like him and it's almost disturbing since it's almost like he's there. . .disappointed that we didn't save him'

I mean we did resemble Dad more than we did with Father but to think that you see your dead friends face in a child is sad and scary. Lately, Dad's death seems to have damaged everyone and I mean everyone in both kingdoms, mostly Dad's kingdom but Father's kingdom felt bad for not noticing. Linnie hasn't been well lately either since all he does is hold me and cry, there hasn't been any words from him lately since the news came to him. At first, he comforted me before he himself finally had the news sink in causing him to stop anything he was doing and all he does is cry or space out.

I went around the kingdom asking people of what he did when he was younger and most just murmured to themselves as if only telling themselves of the memories with him.

One elder finally told me something

"Oh how he always went to his orphanage and took care of the kids. . . he even went to a few weddings as the bride's or groom's Dad" she paused before continuing as she seemed to be recalling the memories with a smile
"He always brought a new kid each day. . . it was always his dream to be a Dad and raise his own kids and be there at their weddings, he even went as far as learning to cook and clean" she said with a chuckle before a single tear goes down her face.

She sighed before giving me a forced smile
"He always hung out with Ted, Martin, and Shane as a child. . .they were outcasts but your Dad just loved them to death, they even had a slogan that they only understood" she seems to pause trying to remember as she plays with her white hair
She seems to remember after some awkward silence
"I think you'll know what it means but ask Ted as I'm not the type to disrespect your Dad's wishes" she says with a small smile growing smaller

I nodded and went over to this one guard who was crying but trying to keep focus. So, I decided to walk over to him and see for myself what he knew

"Hello I would like to know what relationship you had with my Dad" he stared at me with his tears falling down faster before he said
"Why do you all look so much like him?" He cried more before he seemed ready to talk.

The silence along with some sniffling was hanging in the air as ai waited for him to calm down to answer me.

He finally sniffed a bit before turning to me and saying
"Your Grandpa wasn't nice to him so basically just randomly started coming to me as if I was his dad" he says continuing with
"I attended his wedding as his Dad and I still see him in front of me asking me to attend as his Dad at the wedding" a smile was on his face but his eyes showed great pain.
