--Longer than usual as a sorry for being gone for so long--
More adventures with the original group of friends, Sarid, Ted, Martin, and Shane, let's get into it.
Martin and Shane became a couple. How nice. But they still weren't safe. The Sprite Kingdom is no place to be where you can be truly free. Shane was surprised by how friendly the place was.
Everyone was friendly and happy with their lives in this place. Shane felt amazed about the magical place. It was like all those fantasy books, but he grew to learn that nothing is what it seems. Sarid and Ted noticed that Shane was a fool to the veil over the Sprite Kingdom. He is a fool by the mask over the Sprite Kingdom.
The two held a conversation about it as they saw the happy citizens lead Shane away from them.
"There he goes, being lead away by the citizens," Ted said blandly.
"Maybe we should follow him, or he'll be eaten up alive." Ted nodded as that may be true.
"Yes, but it'll take a while before they show their true traits. I want to finish my coffee first." Ted sipped from his coffee.
"I'd also like to finish my chocolate milk. Let's finish these instead." Sarid joined him, not too worried.
"This place is lovely. I've never seen so many people happy with their lives!" Shane said in amazement as he saw the colorful Kingdom.
Martin is nowhere around mainly because he often likes to do his own thing, he went missing for three days once, and they found him fighting a deer that looked just as determined to win. They got scared when the deer ran at Martin and hit Martin hard enough that one of his adult teeth came out flying. Martin wasn't worried as a new sharper tooth grew in the empty spot as he tackled the deer screaming,
"Got you now, Jerry! This fight wouldn't be happening if you didn't steal my food!" Martin always had disputes with this deer, no one knows when it started, but Martin won't let it go.
"So out of everyone, you fought hard to get this idiot's heart?" Ted turned to Shane with a raised brow.
"Don't judge! He makes me feel special. He can always make me laugh." Ted rolled his eyes at this cheesy confession.
Shane saw behind the veil eventually but didn't care as long as he was with his friends. Sarid just smiled at his friend's chatter. He pulled Shane and Ted close as he said,
"I think that our days of youth will be fun to tell. You think we'll still be friends by the time we're adults?" Ted and Shane were going to answer. Then Martin was thrown into them by Jerry, the deer, who won the fight.
Sarid didn't fall, but Ted was out of his wheelchair, and Shane fell to the ground, knocked out with Martin, who had lost consciousness. Sarid sighed. These shinanigans got worse after the couple got together, he loved his two friends dearly, but this could be a bit of a nuisance. Martin and Shane woke up eventually after Sarid and Ted had taken them back home. Martin and Shane looked at each other before bursting out laughing.
Martin held Shane close as they sat in comfortable silence. Martin was still shy, while Shane was completely comfortable where he was. Shane stood up out of nowhere and pulled Martin up for a dance. He felt like this was one of those kids' stories. It felt like true love. He had never seen the point in this idea of love as it looked too good to be true.
Shane pulled Martin around as Martin felt like he fell harder for the boy in front of him. Martin held an awestruck look in his eyes, then Ted busted down the door, stopping the sweet moment as he said
"Sorry to disturb, but Sarid has gone mad again. We need to knock him out." Ted said casually as the house across the street from them exploded.
Martin sighed but nodded while Shane followed, confused as he didn't think Sarid could be like that. Ted and Martin get thrown around as Sarid grew angrier from them trying to calm him down, Shane joined, but it only took Sarid flicking him on the forehead for him to lose consciousness. He woke up instantly for what felt like a second, only to see he was in a hospital room with Ted and Martin in hospital beds next to him. They weren't too injured but didn't look so great. Ted had bandages around his arms, no cast, while Martin had bandages around his head that held some dry blood. Ted and Martin chatted casually as a Nurse replaced Ted's bandage with a cleaner one.
