Chapter 7: Hospital Visit?

Cooper's P.O.V.
Things went south as I heard a bunch of crashing and the house lights flickered on and off repeatedly. I mean to say my Father's kingdom is being attacked and i managed to get inside with Linnie and he was on guard ready if anyone got into our castle but I didn't see any of my siblings or anyone in the house but us two here. Eventually it went quiet abruptly so quickly I thought that maybe it ended after ten minutes so we go outside and see the place is mostly in shambles while many are rushed to the healer that is my Father and soon me. Once we made i saw that there was only six of my siblings there unharmed before Petals runs up to me hugging me tightly which was a first time she had ever done this. And all she did was apologize profusely with tears running down her face until she finally said

"You look confused. Do you not know what happened to the rest of your siblings? Of course you don't you were safe which makes me happy that at LEAST you made it" she says with a bittersweet tone.

Then Dad comes running at me and Linnie while engulfing us both in a big hug squeezing us while smothering us with affection. Linnie asks a question that makes everyone go quiet

"Where is Nick, Lily, and Bon? Weren't they with you guys or something" he asks curious and confused.

We all wait for an answer before Dad says "Bon, and Lily were with them it's just thing didn't go as planned and they...died before the attacks ended but couldn't be revived" it's silent before he continues "Nick is injured badly which mean he has to be connected to a breathing machine yet he has a high chance of making it he just need some rest" he says reassuringly to us all.

I don't know what to say especially when you lose a quarter of your family in one day as well with one of then being in a coma connected to a breathing machine. I make my way to Nick's room by myself which I'm glad no one followed me, so I finally reach the door after walking down a long hallway as his door was the last down thus hallway. I open the door quietly in case he was sleeping but the sight was horrendous as fresh blood seeped into his bandages. His heart rate going quickly so I grab a seat and sit while grabbing his hand which seemed to help his heart rate slow down a bit. He seems to be bandaged basically everywhere for most part so I spent half an hour speaking to him until I hear voices near the door that sounded like Dad and Father talking to each other.

I get up from my seat while quietly making my way to the door pushing my ear against it to hear what they may be talking about right now. I hear Father speak up to Dad

"We lost two parts of my kind. Hybrids are better than nothing but somehow you manage to lose two in one go! My royal blood has to make sure I make sure there's more royal blood!" Father yells obviously pissed.

I hear Dad talk back calmly

"We still have seven kids you should feel grateful their not hurt since their your kids! And I know your job as a royal blood is to at least have 2 royal bloods and your the first to have more than two purebreds or hybrids. Which is great for your kind but I worry more about the loss of our kids even if we may not see eye to eye but i hoped that you would least see eye to eye on caring about our kids" Dad says with a passive aggressive tone.

Father stays quiet before saying

"Who said I cared about those pawns in the peace treaty? We have a more important matter which is making sure we replace what we lost! Just have two more kids or more but we need to have more" he says it like a command.

It stays quiet before I hear Dad say

"Who says any one of us are ready for more children in this house when we lost two and have another in a coma? You can hurt me all you want but the kids are always off-limits. Leave if you're not going help at all. I'm going to check OUR my son Nick because I actually worry if he's alright!!" He says back.
