Chapter 39

Wrath was back home with Cole and Greed making sure nothing is too hard for him to do as he may be better but that doesn't mean that he should go back instantly to doing hard stuff and they were told to start packing their stuff to go live in the castle as Cooper would be let out soon on good behavior and would need them there soon, Cole and Greed helped Wrath pack first as they didn't want him carrying all heave boxes all by himself to the kingdom while Cole and Greed packed their own stiff so they were packing Wrath's first. Most of his things were already packed with only some small things needing to be packed away so Cole and Greed git to work and finished 1 hour later and then they were putting the boxes in Wrath's new room while Wrath opened the boxes and put the stuff in the empty room with Agony silently helping Wrath unpack his things in his room, it took 3 hours but the room was mostly set up as Ted, Martin, and Shane all congratulated them for coming far but Ted seemed indifferent compared the Martin and Shane who were smiling and congratulating their replacements, he wasn't smiling at Cole or anything as he was completely serious as he said

"Your job is to make sure no one dies, I failed to keep Sarid alive but you have a storm coming if Cooper dies under your watch. Hope that Parasite incident didn't scare you as you'll be dealing with those soon too." Ted gave Cole a pat on the shoulder before he was wheeled away by Martin as Shane followed behind giving a small wave to the 4 as he left the room with he put his mask down and gave a smile then turned around and put his mask back on.

Greed left to go pack his stuff and Cole went away as well which left Wrath and Agony alone to chat and catch up as soon they wouldn't get to see each other after Wrath finally starts his job and Agony wanted to congratulate Wrath as he knew how hard Wrath was working for the job so he sat down Wrath on his bed while and went on in a speech telling Wrath how proud he was.

"Wrath, you are soon to be doing your trained job that many others didn't get. Don't think you were chosen because your Dad's son but because you fitted the qualities, it was quite a shock for us all when you applied. We were so proud to know you managed to pass amd keep up to your training and I hope you know that even if you aren't home anymore, we'll still be here ready to help you. We love you very much and want you to know we support your job and that were proud your working hard to keep it, I just thought that as your older brother that I should give you some confidence and remember you have support." Wrath was feeling even more better and he thanked Agony who only smiled and patted his head.

Ted, Martin, and Shane were proud of their successors and talking to one another about the things they were proud or the new progress they were making than when they first started, Ted didn't say much which was normal as his job had him stay secretive and then they asked Ted if he was proud of his successor which made Ted stay silent for a bit before he shrugged his shoulders as he drank his cup of water. They asked why he was unsure if he was proud of Cole or not and Ted stayed silent before he said

"He's alright, he has a lot more to improve on from what I've seen. Wrath got injured because of him and I'm sure I didn't teach him that, he was the best option out of all those kids though so I had no choice but to take him reluctantly. He'll grow into his role but right now, he's as foolish as I was when I first started started being Sarid's Right Hand Man." Martin shrugged and Shane just nodded.

Even if both Martin and Shane said anything it wouldn't do anything to change Ted's opinion on Cole as he was one to be hard to convince as he was almost as smart as Sarid since he's seen a lot more than both Martin and Shane did as he was there before they were and had done both of their jobs as well until Sarid finally got two other people as he wanted more company. He brought Martin to the house after he heard that a Sprite was left to live in a cave outside the gates of the kingdom which made him come over and convince Martin to come live with him and Ted which took a bit of convincing then he took Martin to get a shower and a whole new do which worked out great and well a few years later Shane was brought after Sarid spun in around in a circle and hos pointing finger landed on Shane which ended with Martin hitting a gong and confetti came out as they cheered for their last member of the group who was confused. Shane was a human and had come to the kingdom because his home had been attacked and he needed shelter. When they found out that Shane most likely had lost all of his family they let him come in because no one would come looking for him if he died or went missing, Shane had been allowed to live there but most Sprites ignored him until he was walking by this ceremony and the popular guy he knew as Sarid pointed at him saying
