To Protect You

Part 64

We got out and started to get dressed. We were almost done when my phone started ringing, it was my dad.

On call

FP-hey jug, I'll be there in about 10 minutes

J-okay

FP-are you ready to leave yet?

J-yea, we were just getting dressed

FP-jug, you didn't... do... it in front of your daughter right?

J-no, ofcourse not dad. We took a bath

FP-ohh, we'll anyway I'll be there soon.

J-okay, we'll be waiting outside.

We hung up, Betty had heard the whole conversation and looked at me trying to hold back laughter.

B-that was one of the most awkward conversations I've ever heard. J-yea, I know. Let's get dressed okay? B-yea, can you help juggie?

I helped her out on her pants. Betty went to the small couch and sat down to tie her shoes and I packed our stuff. When I was done I went to Betty to see her sitting on the couchette tears of frustration. I walked up to her and asked

J-betts, what's wrong? B-I-I- I can't get my shoes tied, it just hurts so much to bend over. J-oh baby, come here.

I stalden next to her and wrapped my arms around her. She cried in my chest

J-it's okay Betts, I'll do it for you. She nodded and sat up again. I kneeled down in front of her and tied her shoelaces. When I was done I first put on my own shoes and then helped Betty stand up. I picked up addy and help her close to me, everytime I saw her beautiful little face my heart melted.

Betty and I grabbed our bags and waited outside for my dad. We only had to wait for about 2 minutes when he arrived. We stepped in the car and drove away. Betty decided to hold addy in her arms.

When we got home  we saw a lot of friends and family standing there plus the host of the show Betty and I went on. We were both super confused and we looked at eachother

FP-surprise!

I stepped out of the car, then I realized the cameras. I walke Dover to Betty's side and helped her get out while she still held addy in her arms

B-can you hold her? J-ofcourse baby.

I held addy  and we walked to all the people. Betty walked easier already but she still had to hold my arm.

H(host)- hello Betty and jughead, do you know what we're doing here? B-no.... I shook my head too.

H-after we heard your story we decided to help you, we got a lot of donations to help you pay for all your hospital bills. We hoped for at least 10.000 but after some big generous donations we reached a little more. Come stand next to me,

Betty and I stood next to her and she grabbed a big cheque. She revealed how much it was and it was.... 97.000 dollar! Betty and I were both to surprised to bring out a single word.

H-we know from FP, jughead you dad, that you were thinking about marrying and buying a house together so this is at least a little bit of what you would need.

J-wow.... Thank you so much... I don't know what to say. A few tears formed in my eyes, just like Betty's.

H-well, I hope this will help you.

She asked us some more questions and after that she and the camera crew left

When everyone was gone Betty and I walked inside. Jellybean walked up to me and hugged me thighs

J-hey jelly, you okay? Je-are you going to move out? J-maybe, we'll see Je-I don't want to miss you betty and addy jug. J-if we're moving we'll move close to here so you can see us whenever you want okay? She nodded and walked over to Betty. She hugged her too and kissed addy's nose.

B-how about tomorrow we have a movienight? Just the two of us. J-oh so we aren't allowed to

come? B-nope, girls only. Would you want that? Je-yes, that would be amazing! FP-well where are we supposed to go? Je-you two can have a guys night J-what are you supposed to do on a guys night? B-well we don't know we're girls.

I laughed and kissed Betty's head.

J-we'll go to pops or something. Let's get go there now for some food okay? B-yea, that would be great.

I helped Betty get back in the car since walking too far was hard for her.

Betty

We drove to pops  and walked in. (I don't remember if pop met addy yet so let's pretend he didn't)

P(pop)- hey Betty, I haven't seen you in a while. B-hey pop, Im sorry I didn't come to work... P-it's okay Betty, jughead explained it B-thanks juggie. I kissed his cheek

J-no problem. P-and is this little Addelaine? Jughead told me the name B-yea this is her P-she's beautiful Betty B-thanks. P-what can I get y'all? The usual? We nodded P-okay, I'll get it to you, take a seat.

We sat down in a booth and waited for our food.
