C-hey jughead, what's up?

J-hey, so yesterday Betty saw us at the mall and she thought I was cheating on her with you, and because I didn't tell her what we were doing she got mad so then I decided to quickly buy her a necklace this morning and I said I was going to pick it up at your place so please play along

C-ofcourse jughead, I'll tell her you came to pick it up

J-thanks Cheryl

C-no problem.

I hung up and got back

B-What took so long jug? J-I called Cheryl to tell her you liked the present. B- oh, okay. I really love it J- I'm happy you're happy baby. We talked about it for a while and then we cuddled for the rest of the day. When she fell asleep I called my grandparents

On call

Gp- hey jughead!

J- hey grandpa, how are you?

Gp- me and grandma are good boy. What about you? How are you and Betty?

J- that's what I was calling about actually, it's bettys birthday in a week and I was wondering if you wanted to come over? We're going to have dinner at a nice restaurant and I want to give her a special present.

Gp- yes ofcourse, we'll be there.

Then I realized I hadn't told them Betty was carrying our little baby yet.

J- grandpa?

Gp- yes jug?

J- can you ask grandma to come over, I need to tell you something

Gp- yea, ofcourse she's right here,

She came to the phone and I started to talk

J- uhm so, Betty and I, we're um

Gm- are you getting married? Gp- sssht let jughead talk.

J- no, well I want to but uhm what I wanted to say is that, we're expecting a little baby girl

Gp- jughead Is betty pregnant!?

J- yea.

They were both so excited, they told me that they would defenetly come over for Betty's birthday. I can't wait to see them again, maybe they could even stay over after Betty's birthday so we could talk a little longer. I really missed them. Then I looked at Betty and saw she was awake

J- ohw baby... B- are they coming over for my birthday? Tears formed in her eyes J- yea, I thought you would want them to but I can call it off B- no, no it's just.... J- baby what's wrong? B- I didn't think you would remember J- baby I'll

always remember your birthday, I love you and my grandparents love you too. B- really? Even after what happened? J- yea, ofcourse they do, but betts what did you hear? B-what do you mean? J- well how much of the conversation did you hear? B- I only heard that they where coming over, and how you told them I was pregnant J- is it okay that I told them? B- yea ofcourse. She kissed me and snuggled closer to my chest J- you're so cute B- you're cuter J- no you B- no you! J- no babe, you are B- noo you J- no betts, I think our little baby is the cutest. I softly rubbed her little baby bump B- agreed. She giggled J- but you're a close second. I kissed her head and wrapped my arms around her. We both fell asleep.

One week later

Jughead

Tomorrow it was Betty's birthday, I was really excited and a little nervous about it.
Today my grandparents would arrive, at first we planned to let them come over tomorrow but they could come earlier and jelly and I both missed them a lot. It was about one pm when the doorbell rang, I walked over to the door and opened it. I hoped it would be my grandparents but it was the mailman. He brought a card, I don't know why he rang the bell. I looked at the card and saw it was for Betty, as soon as she saw it she looked a little nervous.

J- what's wrong baby? B- nothing, it's just... nothing. She opened the card and started crying. J- betts what's wrong baby? She walked over to me and hid her face in my sweater. I looked at the card, on it were a few sentences, I read it, it said:

Hello my dearest Betty,

It's almost your birthday and since we can't be there, because all the shit you put us through with your stupid crying and complaining. I congratulate you like this. I hope you have a terrible day, we both hate you you little bitch.

Burn in hell.

When I was done reading Betty looked up at me, her eyes where full of tears and fear. J- come here baby. I kissed her head and held her close to me B- h-how can t-they even send t-that from prison? J- I don't know baby, but they can't hurt you anymore, they're gone now. B- I'm scared jug.. J- I understand that baby, but you're safe here with me. Then the bell rang again, I went to open it and Betty kept hugging my arm. This time it really was my grandparents, they looked at Betty. I could see how confused they where.

Gm- Betty are you okay? She shook her head and started crying again. Gm- come here, it's okay Betty, what's wrong? She hugged Betty and Betty said B- it's my parents. Gm- what is it? She sobbed more and looked at me J- do you want me to explain it? She nodded. J- uhm, so Betty's parents send her a card from prison, and it uhm, it says pretty... bad things. I grabbed the card and let them read it. Betty went back to me and hid her face again, I hugged her again. My grandparents came up to me and we all hugged. Then jellybean walked in, she looked at me. I signed that she should read the card. She did and without saying a word she joined the group hug.
