To Protect You

Part 26

We got in the car and drove to the police station and walked in. FP explained the situation and I got taken to a room and I told the whole story, they also called school and asked for their side. The police agreed that it was unsafe for me to stay with my parents P(police)- she can't stay with her parents anymore, we sent three policemen over to arrest her parents. The only problem left is that we won't have a place for her to stay.

When I heard that I started to cry,I didn't want to have to live with some random people. FP- she can stay at my place, she can stay in a room with my son who is her boyfriend or my

daughter. P- if she's okay with that that would be amazing, we'll have to look at your home situation but if that's alright she can stay with you. FP-okay B- mr Jones you don't have to do this for me. He walked over to me and hugged me FP-I know Betty, but in the time you and jughead have been dating I got to know you as a sweet and amazing girl and you deserve a place to stay, and I don't think jughead has a problem with that. Jughead passionately kissed me and said J- definitely not.

We drove back to jugheads house

J- Betts, I'm happy you'll be staying with us B- jug I can't take this offer, it's way too much. J- yes you can, after all what happened to you deserve everything on the world. He hugged me.

When we got there we saw jellybean sitting on the front porch.

Je- jug! You're back, also dad you forgot to leave a key. FP- sorry, we were supposed to be home already. Je- what took you so long? J- jelly, we have something to tell you, or talk to you about. Je- jug did you get Betty pregnant!? B- no jelly that's not it! I laughed. Je- oh... well what is it then? FP- jelly, lets go inside, it's kind of a big deal. Je- okay.

Inside

J- so jelly, you know me and Betty have been dating for a while, and uhm do you remember that time Betty stayed here? Je- yea, but why are we talking about this? FP- jelly, Betty can't stay

home anymore and I wanted to take her in for a while if that's okay with you. Je- wait Betty, what happened why can't you stay home? Is it something bad? B- uhm yea pretty bad... FP- jelly is that okay for you? Je- ofcourse it is! Now I finally have a sort of older sister! B- are you sure it's okay? Je- yes Betty, 100% B- thanks.

We group hugged

FP- Betty do you want to stay in jugs room? B- yes that would be great FP- jug is that okay with you? J- ofcourse it is! He said and kissed me.

The rest of the day we just talked and had fun.

Jughead

Betty has been staying with us for a week now and it's been the best week of my life, Betty and jellybean are getting along really wel and you can barely see the cut on Betty's arm. Mentally she's also doing really well after what happened.

I came downstairs and saw Betty and jellybean sitting at the table playing games and talking. I was really happy they we're close, but for some reason it kinda bothered me. It felt like she was taking my little sister or something, even though I knew she didn't mean it that way.

J- hey girls, imma head to pops to get dinner Je- okay we'll see you in a bit B- do you want me to

come with you juggie? J- no that's fine I'll let you guys finish your game B- okay babe.

I went to pops and got us dinner for tonight and got back home. J- dinner is ready! We ate and soon after Betty and I went to bed. We laid down and Betty cuddled close to me
