Megha shook the clients hand after signing the deal and packed her files into the sling bag before exiting the meeting hall and got into the elevator. She pressed the button to her floor and stood with a blank expression thinking about Abhi's words. The ding of the elevator brought her out of the thoughts as the elevator doors opened on reaching her floor.

She exited the elevator and walked towards her room 801. She put the key card and opened the door hanging her bag on the hook behind the door before closing it. She directly walked into the shower feeling relaxed under the hot water. After a few minutes she came out in her towel only to stop in her tracks.

Abhi was sleeping on the bed with his hands behind his head in casual wear looking at her with an unusual expression which was present on the day they ate pav bhaji.

She ignored him opening her trolley bag and took her usual night shorts & top and went back into rest room to change. She came out with her hair loose and mobile in her hand saying "Ha! Pallavi I'm fine....Yeah it was a successful deal.....Thank you and I'll come tomorrow morning......Yes okay I'll meet you bye" and disconnected the call.

She opened the door when there was a knock to see room service

She opened the door when there was a knock to see room service. They put the food and took their leave closing the door behind them. Megha locked it and took a pillow from the bed and started moving towards the couch when she felt weightless making her widen her eyes.

Abhi lifted her in bridal style even though she was struggling to get down but he sat on bed with her on his lap caging her in his arms. She was still fighting his hold when he held her neck and pulled her face so close to his face making her still.

They were looking into each other's eyes for the past few minutes and Megha's eyes teared up remembering the words he said to her and she started crying while Abhi held her in his arms tightly as she continuously sobbed wetting shoulder. He lay back on the bed with her on top and tightened his hold around her closing his eyes as his face morphed in pain.

"I hate you" she said between her sobs making him snort and shake his head.

"No. You don't" Abhi said making her look at him with narrowed eyes.

"I do. I hate you more than anything in this world. I wish I never met you. I wish we never got marr-" Her words were cut off by his lips on her. She stilled while he pressed his lips more firmly on hers before pulling back.

"You were saying something" Abhi asked while she stuttered her words uttering them incoherently as he continued "That's what I thought now let's have dinner I'm starving".

"Y...you didn't had food. When did you last eat?" Megha asked coming out of her shock.

"Long enough to starve. Let's eat come on" Abhi said avoiding her eyes and bought the food plate. She shook her head making him sigh and say "Fine breakfast" but said again when she narrowed her eyes "Yesterday" making her angry and snatch the plate from him.

She mixed the food and started feeding him with her hand but Abhi was looking at her with different emotion "What?"

He shook his head and ate from her hand. After feeding him she ate and washed her hand while Abhi sent back the dishes and closed the doors and turned around to see Megha looking at him differently.
