Megha turned on to her back and searched for Abhi beside her. Sensing the empty side of the bed she opened her eyes only to realise that Abhi went to Delhi as he said yesterday. She looked at the clock and called him. He lifted his phone on the second ring and before he could say anything she scolded "Why didn't you wake me up?"
"Well! 1. You were sleeping like a baby 2. You were exhausted from last night work out and 3. You literally passed on your last orga-" before Abhi can continue Megha cut him off "Don't you dare finish that line" blushing furiously.
"What? It's the truth and I also know you are blushing right now" Abhi said mischievously.
She cleared her throat asked "Did you eat anything?"
"I wanted to but my wife was sleeping, so no" Abhi teased going through the final details of his meeting.
"Fiend! I'm talking about breakfast" Megha said with a smile.
"Yes I already had my breakfast before my flight and you need to join others down now since it's already eight" Abhi reminded her making her get up but winced due to the pain and fall back on the bed making Abhi worried "You alright? What happened?"
"My husband happened. I can't even stand properly" Megha scolded and disconnected the call blushing making him grin.
