"So how is working going, Happy?" Kay inquired as she put some salad on her plate.

"It's going, I guess. Been working on a stubborn Ford most of the week." Happy stated.

"I am so glad I don't have to work on my own vehicle. That's one time I just don't have any patience." Michael chuckled.

"It can be very frustrating." Happy conceded earning a small smile from Isabella.

"The new gas station might be opened sooner than a month. Things are going so well." Isabella piped up.

"That's good." Happy replied, "How's your business...es?"

"They're going great! Everything's in the black. I've got some real estate I'm getting ready to develop in Modesto and Stockton which I believe is going to turn quite a profit." Michael beamed.

"I can't wait for Gemma's charity event. Our church is also planning a food drive for the start of the school year." Kay added in.

"That's really great." Happy glanced over at Isabella who just smiled at him.

"How long have you been riding motorcycles?" Michael suddenly asked.

"Since I was about seventeen." Happy replied.

"What do you ride?" Michael inquired.

"Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob." Happy replied, "But I've made some modifications to it over the years."

"I see. None of us have ever been on a motorcycle before so we can't really compare that experience to anything we know." Michael chuckled.

"Well, being on a bike isn't for everyone." Happy stated earning a head nod from Michael.

"I don't think I could ride one, honestly. I much prefer my car." Kay laughed softly.

"I would like to know what it's like being on a motorcycle." Isabella finally piped up as she stared at Happy.

"Then perhaps one afternoon I can take you for a ride." The assassin smiled at her making her whole face light up.

"That would be an exciting outing!" Kay smirked at her daughter.

"It would be quite the experience, I'm sure mother." Isabella politely replied making Happy smirk this time.

The foursome made small talk the rest of dinner with Happy very thankful the MC hadn't been brought up again. The two men found seats in the living room after dinner while Kay and Isabella prepared dessert for everyone. The younger woman handed Happy a saucer with a steaming slice of apple pie with a smile and a wink before walking back into the kitchen. Kay handed her husband a slice of pie before following her daughter. Michael just smiled before digging into his dessert. Happy waited for the two women who joined them a minute or two later. Isabella sat close to Happy making his heart speed up slightly. Kay told her daughter what a wonderful job she'd done with making the pie earning a raised eyebrow from Happy.

They talked a little bit about Isabella and her cooking skills making Happy even more intrigued about her. The more he learned about her, the more he began wondering if he should continue pursuing her or not. She was way out of his league and way too good for a man like him. The conversation was light but his thoughts were trying to decide if continuing to pursue her was the right decision or not. When Isabella stated she should probably get home, he stood up too. He thanked the Bakers for having him over and for the wonderful meal before following Isabella to the front door. He promised he'd call her to set up a date within the next few days making her smile up at him.

He desperately wanted to kiss her but opted not to since her parents were standing at the front door watching them. Isabella told him she looked forward to hearing from him and for their date before leaning up and planting a kiss to his cheek. He smiled at her before walking her to her car. Once she was safely inside, he walked to his bike and waited for her to leave. He left right after her leaving her parents standing at their front door. Having to restrain himself from pulling her into his arms and crashing his lips to hers was rough. Going without sex was even rougher, especially since he was incredibly attracted to her.
