Happy didn't sleep well in the chair by his wife's bed. He was crankier than usual the following morning when the doctor came in to look over his wife. Her vitals were still stable which she told him was a very good sign. Her bullet wound didn't appear to be getting infected which was also a good thing. Clay called Happy to ask him to meet at the clubhouse. He informed the Killah that he was sending Tig to sit with Isabella while Happy was occupied. Happy waited until his brother had shown up before he left his 'ol lady. Tig promised she'd be safe while he was there earning a grunt in response before Happy left the room.

When Happy arrived at the clubhouse, Clay told him Unser had a lead in the shooting. Someone had seen a guy leaving the building shortly before the police and ambulance had arrived and thought the guy was a biker from Modesto. It was strange since they never dealt with anyone from Modesto but Clay wanted to check the lead out anyway. Happy was more than willing to go with his brothers to see this biker club and do his own interrogations. The ride took half an hour to get there and the Killah wanted to get on the road quick. Clay, Jax, Happy, and Chibs were riding down leaving everyone else at the clubhouse to keep their families and other brothers safe.

It was late morning when Tig heard a moan from beside him. He looked over and watched Isabella trying to open her eyes. She moaned again as her eyes flittered open. As she looked around, she became very confused. She didn't know where she was or how she had gotten there. Tig smiled at her as he gently patted her leg.

"Morning, Doll." Tig stated.

"Where am I? How'd I get here?" She inquired.

"You're in the hospital. The ambulance brought you and father in yesterday mid-morning." He questioned, "Do you remember anything about yesterday?"

She thought back to the previous day and frowned. It caught Tig off guard because he'd never seen her frown before. She was always smiling and cheerful.

"Screams. There were suddenly screams in the reception area. I...I left my office to see what was going on." She stuttered.

"What else do you remember? Any detail is helpful." Tig urged.

"He was there. Shooting at everyone. No one seemed to be safe from him. It was...it was a large gun. Loud." She stated, "Then I ran to my office and locked the door. I tried hiding under my desk but he broke in. He found me and shot at me. My whole chest felt like it was on fire. It was so hard to breath. (Her eyes filled with tears) It was hard to focus. There was more gunfire."

"What else?" Tig asked.

"I took the chance to crawl out from under my desk and grab my cell. I dialed 9-1-1. Sometime I guess I passed out." She sniffled.

"You did good, Doll. Do you know who the shooter was?" Tig questioned.

"Yes. My dad just fired him last week. It was discovered by our financial department he'd been embezzling from the company. So my dad let him go." She replied.

"Who was it?" Tig asked.

"Trevor. Trevor Smith." She told him.

"Good job, Doll. You just worry about getting better. I need to make a phone call real quick. I'll be right outside the door if you need me." Tig told her as he stood up and slipped his phone out of his pocket.

She wiped her face as he left the room. Everything had come back to her and she felt frightened all over again.

"Hey Clay. Isabella's awake. She knows who the shooter was. His name is Trevor Smith. He was embezzling from her dad's company and was fired last week." Tig told his Prez.

"Really? Stay there and I'll tell Happy." Clay replied before hanging up.

He called up Juice before talking to Happy, "Juice! Find out everything about a Trevor Smith. His home address, his contacts, his vehicle, everything."

"What's going on, Clay?" Jax asked.

"Apparently this guy is the shooter. Has nothing to do with Happy or the club. Was embezzling from Isabella's father's company and was fired last week for it. Came back for revenge I guess." Clay lit a cigar.

Since it was no longer related to the club, Clay decided to lift the lockdown. He called Opie to let him know and asked him to let everyone else know. Lockdown was no longer needed since this was a personal matter between Isabella's father and the shooter. Gemma thought she'd head back to the hospital and check in with Isabella and Kay. Lyla took her and Opie's kids and left the lot. Tara took her boys to daycare while she got ready for her shift at the hospital. Things were getting back to normal.

Juice did as he was told to and searched for Trevor Smith. He got his address, hacked into the DMV and got his vehicle information, and discovered his Facebook page. Juice had drowned out everything around him as he searched everything he could about this guy. He liked Isabella. She was always nice to him and never treated him like the cousin people just put up with because they have to. Hearing she'd been shot had worried the Puerto Rican and he had hoped she'd make it. He wrote down all the pertinent information that he found including about some of the guy's closest friends. He searched them too figuring Happy would want him to search everyone associated with Trevor.

Juice sent Clay a text with Trevor's address and vehicle information. The biker leader relayed the information to the other four. Happy was itching to get his hands on this guy. They rode back to Charming to find where the guy lived. The address was a nice apartment complex. Nothing too fancy. Better than some of the seedier complexes on the outskirts of town but not as good as the high-end complexes. The bikers rode around until they found where he lived. Trevor's vehicle wasn't in his parking space. Parking their bikes, they walked up the stairs to his apartment. Clay banged on the door but there was no answer. Clay just nodded to Happy who was more than willing to knock the door down.

The foursome walked inside to see if they couldfind Trevor. There were a lot of high-end electronics in the living room Jaxnoted. 'I wonder how long this guy was stealing from the company before hewas found out?' the blond wondered as they made their way through theapartment. Trevor wasn't there and it didn't appear that he had planned a longroad trip. His suitcases and all his clothes were still in the closet. Clayimmediately called Juice and asked where the guy could have gone. Juice toldhim he found three guys who seemed to be very close to Trevor. He sent theiraddresses to his Prez before Clay hung up on him.

One-by-one the foursome checked each residence. Trevor's friends swore they hadn't seen him in days. Jax called Juice back and asked their IO to try and track Trevor's car. The fear in their eyes when Happy wrapped his hand around their neck and threated to tear them apart made Chibs believe the young men that they were telling the truth. As hard as he tried, Juice was having no trouble in tracking the car down. As if a lightbulb had gone off, he began searching the whereabouts of Trevor's parents in the hope that he had gone there after the shooting to hide out. He sent another text to Clay with that information so they could try there as well.

The foursome then headed off to Trevor's parent's house in search of him. A middle-aged woman close to Gemma's age opened the door and looked around at all four bikers. Jax flashed her a grin and asked if Trevor were there. She shook her head no then asked why they wanted to see him. Happy grunted making Chibs grab his upper arm. Jax calmly stated they had some private matters to discuss with Trevor and were having trouble locating him. Her shoulders relaxed and her body seemed at ease suddenly. She told them again he wasn't there but that they should try his girlfriend's house. Jax asked for directions so she gave it to them. Clay thanked her with a half-smile before turning around and heading back to his bike.

"We're getting nowhere!" Happy growled.

"We'll find him, brother. Then you can have your way with him." Clay exclaimed as they started their bikes up.

A/N: Think the Sons will find Trevor? Will Happy get his revenge?
