Isabella did as Tara suggested and kept herself busy. If she wasn't at the office, she was working on her book. Sometimes Gemma invited her, Tara, Tig, Opie & Lyla over for dinner. It always made her sad because she knew who all were missing. She always went and tried to be as cheerful as she could. The first dinner Gemma had invited everyone to, Tig pulled her aside and told her to call him if she ever needed anything. She was his brother's 'ol lady and it was the club's job to look after her while he was locked up. She thanked him for his generosity.

A few weeks after Happy was taken to prison, she thought she had contracted some sort of stomach bug. Her assistant had caught something and she was usually the one to bring her lunch and coffee. She called out of work early one day so she could go to the doctor. After going over her symptoms, a thorough examination, as well as blood and urine testing, the doctor finally came back with the results. She had waited forty-five minutes after they'd taken her blood and urine and she was getting antsy to know what was wrong with her. The doctor looked over her chart then looked at her and smiled.

"Congratulations Mrs. Lowman! You're going to have a baby!" The doctor told her.

She was so shocked by the news someone could have knocked her over with a feather.

"Are you sure? There's been a stomach bug going around the office lately." Isabella retorted.

"The blood work confirms it. You're only about three weeks along. I'll have the nurse give you some pamphlets on becoming a mother for the first time as well as a prescription for prenatal vitamins." The doctor told her as he stood up, "Congratulations again."

She sat on the exam table too stunned to move. They were going to have a baby. They hadn't talked about having a baby! What if he didn't want children? She was beginning to panic when the nurse came in.

"Here's your prescription and the pamphlets on becoming a mommy for the first time." The nurse told her, "It's going to be ok. I'm sure your husband is going to be thrilled with the news."

She wasn't so sure about that. Babies changed things. They wouldn't be able to have sex just anywhere they wanted. She'd have to quiet down so to not disturb the baby when they did have sex. Sighing as she slid off the exam table, the nurse told her to make an appointment with her OBGYN to start her pregnancy appointments. There was so much to do. The one guest bedroom would have to be turned into a nursery. Then there was buying nursery furniture. Painting the walls. Putting up decorations. Then buying all the baby stuff like a playpen, car seat, diapers, formula, bottles, and all that other stuff babies needed.

Her mind was ablaze with what all would need to be done to make her guest room into a nursery and everything they would have to buy. She somehow made it to her condo without incident. Closing the door and locking it after her, she dropped her keys on the table and walked to her guest room. Sighing, she went to fetch her laptop. In order to make it into a nursery, she'd have to decide what she wanted it to look like. Isabella didn't want to wait too long to get to work on transforming the room. She was the type to always want things ready long before she needed it to be ready.

As she browsed nursery ideas, she found a lot of cute ideas. As she came across ideas she liked, she wrote them down to go over later. She wanted a gender-neutral theme so it would be good for either sex. Although she could wait and create the nursery when she found out what she was having, she didn't want to wait that long. The sooner she got it ready, the less stress she would have about being ready for the baby later on.

She would start shopping for baby items soon as well. Saturday was prisoner visiting day and she planned on seeing her husband. Tara texted her as she was browsing nursery ideas asking if she wanted to carpool to the prison since she was going to visit her husband. Isabella was quick to tell the blond she'd love to. It would help take her mind off things to be chatting with the other woman. Now she just had to find a way to tell her husband they were having a baby. It was happening whether or not they were ready. His reaction, however, still worried her. A sudden craving for wings hit so she stood up and went to find the wing take-out menu to place her order.

She hated eating alone. It didn't used to bother her since she lived alone. Since Happy had entered her life, she had gotten used to having him there eating with her. His presence was still sorely missed even after a few weeks. She wasn't sure she'd really get used to him being gone like Tara told her she would. She didn't want to get used to him being gone! She wanted him there with her. Wanted him by her side at night when she went to bed. Wanted to kiss him and hold him. She sighed as she sat back down on the couch. What was she going to say to Happy about being pregnant? After a while he was going to notice.

Her wings finally arrived so she stood up, grabbed her money, and looked through the peephole. Sure enough it was her dinner arriving. She paid, took her food, then shut and looked the door. Walking into the kitchen, she grabbed some paper towels and sat at the kitchen table. 'Ugh. So good!' she thought as she devoured her dinner. It was messy but delicious she decided as she cleaned up afterwards. After refilling her tea glass, she moved back to the living room to continue her search. It was finally called off when she started yawning. She saved her bookmarks then shut her laptop down for the night before turning off all the lights and heading to bed.

She tossed and turned for a while before falling into a fitful sleep. There was also telling her parents but she wanted to tell her husband first. He, at the very least, deserved to be the first to know. Waking in the middle of the night to throw up was not a pleasant experience. She didn't like doing it when she was sick and now was no different. Isabella hoped it would end soon as she washed her mouth out with mint mouthwash before heading back to bed. "I hope you're going to be happy about this baby, Happy." she stated as she stared up at the ceiling. She woke the next morning craving pancakes. Not in the mood to cook for herself, she dressed for work and headed to the local diner.

There was a motorcycle parked by the front door when she arrived. She stepped out of her car and locked it before heading inside. Sitting at a booth all by himself was Tig sipping on a cup of coffee. When he heard the doorbell ching, he looked up. Seeing Happy's 'ol lady, he waved her over. She smiled shyly not used to being by herself around any of her husband's club members. He watched her carefully slide into the booth and look around for the waitress.

"Morning Doll." Tig greeted her.

"Good morning." She replied, "What are you doing here?"

"Getting a bite to eat before work." He told her, "You?"

"Same. I didn't feel like cooking for myself this morning." She said.

"It's rough, I know. But he's got Chibs, Juice, and Jax watching out for him. They'll look out for one another." Tig told her.

"I know. It already feels like forever and it's only been a few weeks." She looked down as the waitress came over to refill Tig's coffee cup.

"What can I get for you, sweetie?" The waitress asked her.

"The pancakes and bacon with orange juice, please." Isabella answered.

"Coming right up." The waitress stated before leaving the pair alone.

Tig got her talking about her work while they ate breakfast. He asked her if there had been any incidents and she told him everything was fine as far as she knew. He knew if anything happened to Isabella, Happy would go completely insane and do something stupid. The club needed Happy on the outside not locked away for life. Isabella insisted on paying for breakfast but Tig wanted to argue with her. He finally relented when he realized she wasn't taking no for an answer. She thanked him for inviting her to have breakfast with him and wished him a good day. He stared after her as she left the diner and climbed into her car. 'What a woman. Too classy for the likes of us bikers.' he sighed before walking out to his bike and heading to T-M for the day.

A/N: How do you think Happy is going to take the news that he's going to be a father?
