They sat around talking about telling people of their engagement, bouncing some ideas around about what they wanted the wedding to look like, and who all she would invite. "Just ma, my aunt Sophia, and my brothers." was Happy's answer when she asked who he wanted to invite. She didn't figure the list would honestly be long. She figured the 'ol ladies would come as well and she had no problem with it. After a while, he suggested they pack up and head back to her place. She agreed and helped him put up the remaining food up before folding the blanket.
She followed him back to his bike where he packed his saddlebags up then straddled his bike. Isabella put her helmet on then climbed on behind him. The sun caught her ring and she couldn't help but smile as she thought about it. He cared and loved her enough to want to make her his wife. The thought made her heart swell. On their way back to her condo, he figured he needed to have the chat about inking her and what the crow meant. He hoped she'd agree to the tattoo. Especially after he explained what it meant in his world. He gave her hand a squeeze as she leaned against his back making her smile to herself.
He took the picnic basket inside with them when he followed her into her condo. They put the food up then found a seat on her couch. He nodded towards himself so she scooted over and rested her head against his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder as she turned the TV on and began channel surfing to find something for them to watch. She found an old gangster flick so she stopped scrolling and just leaned into her new fiancé to watch the movie. They sat together watching movies until it was dinner time. She suggested they just order in bringing a smile to his face. He suggested Chinese making her giggle.
After their dinner had been delivered, he turned the TV down making her look at him funny. She asked him if everything was ok and he said it was but he wanted to talk to her about something. It made her nervous at what he could want to talk to her about. He'd already explained the meaning behind his smiley tats and she assured him she was fine with the fact he had killed people because they were bad men. He tried to figure out the best way to bring it up. She tilted her head and rested her hand on his knee as she waited for him to speak.
"Have you seen the crow tattoo Gemma has on her chest?" Happy asked.
"Yes."
"Good. Every 'ol lady gets her man's crow. Since we're together, and getting married, that makes you my 'ol lady." Happy looked at her.
"You want me to get a tattoo?" She asked.
"Yes. It doesn't have to be big. And I'll be the one tattooing you." Happy stated, "Is this something you can do?"
"I don't know. Tattoos are frowned upon in my religion..." She trailed.
"Please? This tattoo isn't something random. It has meaning. It gives you authority and respect within the biker community and with the other 'ol ladies." Happy exclaimed.
"Well..." She trailed, "Can it be small? Maybe fit on the inside of my wrist?"
"I can make that work." Happy told her.
"Ok then." She replied with a shy smile.
"I'll draw something up to show you before we do this." Happy stated.
"I can't wait to see what you draw up for me." She smiled.
"You have to be honest with me. If you don't like what I come up with, you have to let me know. This is going on your body permanently. If I have to redraw it to make it perfect for you, I will. I promise I won't get upset." Happy explained.
"I'll be honest with you. I always am." She retorted.
Hearing that she was willing to get his ink made him very happy. She was acclimating to his world better than he originally thought she would. Especially knowing she came from money and didn't need him or anything he could bring her, good or bad. She was too good for him and that was something he'd always remember. Clearly, she chose him because she could have any man she wanted. Better men. Normal men. Who was he, really? Just a violent member of a motorcycle club. He looked down to see her half-smiling at the movie and had to smile to himself. Happy was glad she chose him even if she was too good for him. He would spend his life trying to show her how much he cared for and loved her.

A few days later and Isabella was told she was taking a business trip to New York with her father. He had some properties up there he was trying to develop and needed her with him. He let her leave the office early so she could go pack for the trip and to let her fiancé know she would be out of town for a few days. Seeing the now-familiar BMW pulling into the parking lot made Gemma walk out of her office. She looked over the young woman with a smile making Isabella smile back at the Matriarch of the biker club.
"To what do we owe the pleasure of seeing you?" Gemma hugged Isabella, "And let me see the ring. I know what Happy had planned for you."
Isabella giggled and showed off her sparkling engagement ring. Gemma congratulated her making the younger woman smile.
"I'm here to talk to Happy. I'm going out of town for a business trip and thought I'd let him know since I'm leaving very early tomorrow morning." Isabella told the Queen.
"I see. I hope your trip goes well. I'll let you go talk to your fiancé now." Gemma smirked.
Tig watched the way Isabella confidently strolled over to the killer and waited for him quietly. He looked her up and down with a smirk. 'She is so hot. I still don't get what she sees in Happy.' he thought to himself as he stared at her ass. Chibs plopped down besides the SAA and shook his head as he lit up a smoke. Happy finally stood up and noticed his fiancé standing there. She smiled up at him before he reached for a grease rag to wipe his hands on. Hoping he was clean, he gave her a hug and asked why she'd stopped by the garage.
"Well, my father and I have to head to New York for some business. I'm not entirely sure how long this trip is going to be. We're leaving very early tomorrow morning to get to the airport." Isabella told him.
"I see. You call me every night to let me know how you are. Let me know when you get there, too." He told her.
"I will, I promise." She smiled.
"So what's this business, exactly?" Happy inquired.
"He's got some property up there he's finally getting around to developing. I'm needed for negotiations and other things." She shrugged indifferently, "Think the club will keep you busy while I'm away?"
"Probably. We're starting to have trouble with another group so there will probably be a lot of club business while you're gone." Happy explained.
"Stay safe, ok?" She stated making him grunt.
"Always."
"Well, I need to get home so I can pack for the trip. I'll see you when I get back." She told him.
Chibs and Tig watched as Happy pulled her in for a passionate kiss. "Lucky bastard!" Chibs exclaimed making Tig snort in agreement. They watched as she waved then turned to head back to her car. She looked over and caught them looking at her. She flashed them a smile as she waved and kept walking to her car. Chibs just half-smiled as he smoked but Tig stared after her. It still baffled him how she could ever want to be with a man like Happy. Not that he had any ill feelings towards his brother. It's just that he knew what Happy was. Knew how he could be. Every time he saw them together they seemed happy and it always blew Tig's mind.
