That Saturday, Isabella dressed in some cute khaki capris, some wedge sandals, and a cute wrap-around top and awaited Tara to come pick her up. She was nervous about seeing Happy knowing this was a big conversation they needed to have and he would be behind glass the whole time. She wanted to feel him as she told him about their baby. She waited by the stairs until Tara pulled up. The brunette doctor left the two boys with their grandmother while she and Isabella made their way to Stockton Prison for visitor's day. Tara was animatedly talking about the boys and stuff they were doing at school so Isabella just sat there and listened, glad for the distraction from what she was having to tell Happy.

It was slightly more than half an hour to drive from the condo to the prison although the ride seemed far too long and far too short all at the same time. Tara parked the car and they climbed out. They would be patted down, need to store their belongings in a temporary storage locker, then wait for their inmate to be brought out for them to talk to. Isabella sat down with her hands in her lap with her heart pounding in her ears. A few minutes later, Happy was brought out and he sat down. Seeing her made him smile as he picked up the phone. She followed suit dying to hear his voice again.

"Hey baby! (Hearing that word made her twitch slightly) Have you been safe?" He asked.

"Of course." She replied.

"What's wrong then?" He asked.

"What makes you think something's wrong?" She retorted.

"It's my job to read people's body language. You're tense. Something's wrong. Tell me what it is." He demanded.

"Promise me you won't get upset." She stated.

"I swear if someone has laid a hand on you..." He growled into the phone.

"It's nothing like that." She took a deep breath, "I've been feeling sick lately. I thought it was a stomach bug since that had gone around the office. I broke down and went to the doctor. It turns out...I'm... (She finally looked up to his expectant face) ..."

"Whatever it is, I'm here for you, Is. Just tell me." He softened his voice some.

"Happy, we're going to have a baby." She blurted out.

He just stared at her in shock unbelieving what he heard.

"I'm about three weeks along, probably closer to four now. It had to have happened right before you were arrested." She swallowed the lump in her throat.

He still hadn't said anything and it was making her nervous. She began messing with the hem of her shirt as she stared down.

"I haven't told anyone else yet. Not even my parents." She stated, "I thought you deserved to be the first one to know."

"You're serious? (She nodded) You're positive? (Again she nodded) Then I'm having someone stay at the condo with you. You don't need to be alone." He finally told her.

"I don't need a babysitter. I'm fine. Was a little worried about how you were going to take the news but I'm fine." She looked back up into his face.

"Never doubt how I feel about you, Is. This is our child. I love it and will die to protect it too." He quietly told her.

"I love you too, Happy." She replied.

"I'm still gonna have someone come over to check on you." He said making her sigh.

"I promise I'm fine and don't need anyone to babysit me." She stated.

"Is it too early to know what it is?" He asked.

"Yes."

"I want a boy. To carry on the family name." He stated earning a wide smile from her.

She relaxed knowing he was ok with the pregnancy. The rest of the visit they talked about how she was feeling, her morning sickness, and of her needing to turn the guest bedroom into a nursery. He grunted at that knowing she'd definitely need help. He'd have to get a message to his brothers to see if anyone could go over and help her out. Before she knew it, their time was up. "Remember to stay strong and stay safe. If you need anything, call Tig." Happy told her before he had to hang up. She sighed as she hung up her phone and watched as he was taken back to his cell. A moment later, Jax walked by to his cell. He nodded at her as he passed by her window.

She walked to the waiting area to get her things out of the storage locker and wait for Tara. A moment or two later, the doctor came to get her things so they could leave. They walked out to Tara's car together in silence. Isabella didn't know what Tara and Jax talked about but the doctor was much quieter on the way home. It was starting to worry Isabella. After a while she couldn't take it anymore and she had to ask.

"What's going on?" Isabella questioned.

"What do you mean?" Tara kept her eyes on the road.

"You were so talkative on the way up. Now you're all quiet." Isabella pointed out.

"Just some things Jax told me. Don't worry yourself." Tara tried to give her a smile.

"If it has to do with Happy then you have a duty to tell me." Isabella forcefully stated making Tara look over at her.

She'd never heard such an authoritative tone come from the normally soft-spoken woman.

"Jax told me not to tell you because Happy didn't want you to know." Tara explained.

"Tara, tell me. Now." Isabella stated.

"Jax and Chibs got into a fight this week. Thankfully they weren't put into solitary for it. The guy Jax was fighting was about to shank him but Happy stepped up and took the shanking in his side. He's apparently ok enough to be out in the general population." Tara finally confessed.

"WHAT?" Isabella exclaimed.

"Happy didn't want you to know because he didn't want to worry you." Tara told her irate friend.

"I do worry about him. He's told me stories of his time in prison before. And he believes not telling me is not going to make me worry. I will always worry about him." She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.

"I hope you're not mad." Tara glanced over at her friend.

"I'm not mad at you. Or Jax. I'm mad at Happy. He should have told me he'd been injured." Isabella stated.

The rest of the ride back to Isabella's condo was spentin their own thoughts. It had slightly worried Tara to hear that Jax and Chibshad gotten into a fight. She hated admitting it but she was glad Happy took theshanking instead of Jax. It was an awful thing to feel but she couldn't helpherself. She didn't want her husband to get hurt while behind bars just likethe other 'ol ladies. Isabella was thinking about what to do for dinner and howshe wanted to decorate the baby's nursery. Now that he knew and seemed to be okwith things, she felt that pressure of anxiousness lift.

Once they reached her condo, Isabella thankedTara for taking her to the prison and bringing her home. She told her friend todrive safe and she'd see her around. She entered her condo, locked the door, and dropped her keys on the table. Now she needed to tell her parents, theyneeded to tell his mother, and the club. She figured on her next visit to theprison they could talk about that. She was just thankful that he now knew theywere having a baby. She could go on with turning the guest room into the baby'snursery and begin getting the things they would need for him or her.

A/N: How do you think Happy is going to be knowing his 'ol lady is pregnant while he's locked up inside?
