"I know..." Clemont said as he knows how much Bonnie wanted a starter but because of the time frame he was too late to get her on the list to get one today "Then I'm coming with you!" Clemont said to make her feel better
"You know you can't do that" Bonnie said "You got in so much trouble when the league found out you were traveling with Ash Serena and I and left Clembot Version 1 in your place"
"They were overreacting the gym was fine," Clemont said trying not to act like it wasn't a big deal

Even though years ago Bonnie wanted to take Dedenne on her journey when she becomes a trainer Dedenne was Clemont's Pokémon and through the years Clemont's been using Dedenne in more battles becoming an official Gym Pokémon which made her feel that she needs to have her own partner Pokémon

"Well, our friends knew today was the day you wanted to leave so they got you these two things in celebration," Clemont said handing her a bag

"It's a Power Hairclip it allows you to use Z-moves and have a mega stone and if in Galar can Dynamax" Clemont explained as he clipped it to his sister's hair "It's a gift from Serena after you told her you weren't following in her path but to be battling trainer more like Ash"
"I still plan on performing but after seeing so many battles I started to gravitate to it more, I have to thank her because this must have cost a fortune, maybe you should marry her," Bonnie said reminding Clemont she wants him to find a wife

"Yeah, here in Kalos Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie are so good but it's even more difficult over there," Bonnie said referring to the Kanto Starters, "So he picked my starter?"
"Yeah, he thought that this one will give you a good start to your journey," Clemont said "I don't know what he picked, he just transferred it the other day"
"Well let's see," Bonnie said, throwing the ball "Come on out!"
And in the light revealed a different colored Eevee
