"Mt. Moon! Mt. Moon! Mt. Moon! Mt. Moon!" Bonnie was singing out loud
"You're in a good mood" Max commented as Bonnie was skipping ahead of him
"Of course I got my first gym badge!" Bonnie said
"Still need seven more" Max said as it wasn't a big deal
"Let me have this!" Bonnie said as Max just kept walking "You weren't excited after getting your first gym badge?"
"Well it was against Roxanne the Rock type gym leader of Hoenn but I had Treecko and Ralts and already traveled a bit to find Ralts so it wasn't that hard," Max said as Bonnie rolled her eyes "Ash had a hard time"
"Really?" Bonnie questioned
"Since he started over for the first time he just had Pikachu and new captures in Treecko and Tailow but Treecko didn't know any grass moves at the time so he was at a disadvantage," Max said
"But he won right?" Bonnie said
"He did" Max confirmed
"Seems I'm more like Ash than you" Bonnie said drawing similarities to her and Ash
"I don't know if that's a good thing..." Max commented as they reached the entrance to Mt. Moon "So Mt. Moon has gotten lights added to it so we don't need to worry about sight so this should be easier and more straightforward than Viridian Forest"
"Alright, so Mr. Mapman what Pokemon can we catch in here?" Bonnie asked as they started walking inside the mountain
Mt. Moon
"Don't call me that" Max said as he looked at the map app on his phone which made Bonnie laugh "Zubat, Geodude, Parasect, oh and if we're lucky Clefairfy and Clefable can be in here as well"
"You want a Clefairy?" Bonnie asked
"Not particularly but they are rare and can lead to Moon stones," Max said
"Doesn't Nidoran evolve with a Moon stone?" Bonnie questioned
"When he becomes a Nidorino he will need a Moon stone to be a Nidoking," Max said "So better to get that earlier than later"
"Yeah and who knows maybe I'll catch a Pokemon that will need a Moon stone as well," Bonnie said as she was thinking of other Pokémon that need Moon stones to evolve
"You have other stone problems," Max said as they had to duck under a low ceiling to continue
"What do you mean?" Bonnie said
"Well if your Pichu becomes a Pikachu to become a Raichu you will need a Thunder stone," Max said as they walked normally "And if Eevee evolves there's like 5 stone options to choose from none of which are Moon stones crazy enough"
"I guess I never seriously considered what Eevee would evolve into," Bonnie said as she took out Eevee's Pokeball "Come out!"
"Vee?" Eevee said
"Do you know what you want to evolve into?" Bonnie asked as Eevee shook its head and tilted its head as if thinking "Figures, guess we'll find out in time"
"It's a tough decision all of them are good choices" Max admitted which Bonnie appreciated as there was no joke or condescension in his voice
They walked for a bit saw a few Zubat fly by and some Geodude resting in some corners
They then came across a more open area with a figure looking like they're picking some stuff off the ground and putting whatever it was in a small bag
