"Alright just give me a few minutes and your Pokemon will be good as new" Tracey Sketchit the Professor's Assistant said taking the pokeballs from Bonnie and Max and heading to the back

"Thanks, Tracey," Max said
"Wait, Tracey!? The one who traveled with Ash in the Orange Islands?!" Bonnie said
"Yep that's me," Tracy said from the back
"You sound like a fangirl," Max said with a small laugh teasing the girl
"Hey I'm like the only one who hasn't met all of his friends," Bonnie said "I only didn't know it was you because I never met you but I've heard all about you too Max"
"About how awesome I am!" Max said pushing his glasses up, smirking, and holding his head held high
"..." Bonnie didn't respond to that "I've heard about Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, Iris, and met Cilan"
"So where did you meet Ash?" Max asked "I met Misty as well a few others on my journey, and traveled with Brock and my sister May in Hoenn and Kanto"
"Kalos!" Bonnie said as Max was shocked "It was me, my brother Clemont and our friend Serena"
"You were there for Ash's tournament match?!" Max said remembering when Ash was last predominately in Kalos
"Yeah! It was some of the best battling I've ever seen" Bonnie said
"I'm so mad he got second place," Max said "I remember watching that on TV with my dad and we were rooting hard for Ash"
"Now you sound like a fangirl" Bonnie teased as Max went to compose himself with a slight lift of his glasses "Well he did eventually become a champion"
"So tell me, why pick Kanto to start? This is my third region but I started at home in Hoenn" Max asked "I went to Sinnoh before this so why not Kalos? Or somewhere kinda close by like Galar?"
"I wanted to follow in Ash's footsteps I mean how else should I become a strong trainer," Bonnie said slightly unsure about the reasoning which Max caught but didn't question it "He's the master when it comes to Pokemon"
"Well you do know Ash's Pokemon are right out back" Max mentioned
"Really?!" Bonnie shouted
"Yeah let's go!" Max said as they made it out back and a lot of Ash's Pokemon were there, from the 30 Tauros to Bulbasaur even ones that weren't originally always there like Goodra, Greninja, and Primeape and some Max didn't recognize like Krookodile, Gengar, and Dracovish
"There's so many!" Bonnie said, "Hey, Talonflame, Goodra, Hawlucha, Noivern!"
The Kalos Pokemon made their way over to Bonnie dogpiling her in delight recognizing their friend
