Training with Janine

"Does she really have to wear this?" Max asked as Bonnie was changing

"No, but she wanted to, you ready Bonnie?!" Janine asked

"Yep! Are you ready for me?!" Bonnie said from inside her tent

"So pointless," Max said as he aimed his phone camera lazily towards the tent to take the picture

"I got one for you too if you want" Janine teases

"Ready," Max said

"Tada!" Bonnie said in her pink and yellow ninja outfit similar to Janine's

"You look great Bonnie," Janine said

"Aren't ninjas supposed to be..." Max said as Bonnie was posing in her outfit "less flashy"

"Eh if you're skilled enough it doesn't matter," Janine said as Bonnie started running around "Black and blues are more common and preferable"

"Alright Janine let's do the Janine Super Ninja Training Course," Bonnie said

"I can help you with your Poison-types," Janine said "it's my specialty" as they accepted that as she was a gym leader "Everything else is on you"

"Ok come out Venonat," Bonnie said

"Veno!"

"Ok Nidoran!" Max said as he let out Nidoran

"Ran!"

"Ok the move I'll have you learn is..." Janine looked at Nidoran "My favorite! Poison Jab!"

"Hm, what do you say Nidoran?" Max asked as Nidoran looked excited "Alright sounds good"

"Ok, what about me and Venonat?" Bonnie asked holding her newly caught Pokémon

"Well Venonat can't learn Poison Jab," Janine said as Bonnie and Venonat looked discouraged "But I can teach something"

"What moves does Venonat know?" Max asked

"Oh yeah," Bonnie said taking out her phone to check her Pokemon data "Psybeam, Poison Powder, and Mega Drain"

"Pretty diverse" Max commented

"But I see you lack a bug move and Venonat is a Bug/Poison-type," Janine said "So let's teach a Bug-type move"

"She does have an Ariados so she has some experience with Bug types as well" Max commented

"Ok!" Bonnie said accepting that deal

"Let's get started first Max you can try having Nidoran focused on using his horn as that's where the Poison Jab will be coming from," Janine said

"Right," Max said as he turned to Nidoran "Let's use your strength, let's practice against that tree"

"Nidoran!"

"And Bonnie I was thinking Venonat can learn Struggle Bug," Janine said "It's about the power within so let's start there"

"You got it!" Bonnie said

"And after all this, we can get some battles in so all our Pokemon can get stronger," Janine said

"Right!" Max and Bonnie both said

Some hours passed as the two trainers with their poison types worked on learning their new moves

Janine was doing her workout while waiting but her curiosity got to her

Janine first checked on Max and Nidoran as they were focusing on putting power in his horn

"Ariados!" Janine said as her Ariados appeared next to Nidoran "Time for a demonstration"

"...alright let's focus on them Nidoran," Max said not liking that she felt compelled for additional help but will take the assistance
