Lea was staring at her phone reading intensely at the information given

It wasn't quite time for her to sleep as she wasn't in her sleepwear and her door was still open allowing light in

Meaning it was clear to see her overthinking face

"So, Sabrina is a Psychic-type Gym Leader, Psychic types are strong against Fighting, and Poison types and weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost types" Lea was recounting the information she was learning "I did catch Gastly in Lavender town but even still I would need at least three other Pokémon and I don't have a Bug or Dark-type"

"Gastly is also part Poison-type so Psychic types will be super effective as well," Ash said standing in the doorway scaring Lea "Hey"

"Ahhh! Ash don't scare me like that!" Lea shouted as Ash said a simple sorry "Ok so I don't have any Pokémon that have a strong advantage over Psychic types..."

"Types don't really matter," Ash said entering the room

"Yes, they do! Gym leaders are strong if I'm not prepared I'll be at a disadvantage" Lea said

"So, you only battle when you have an advantage?" Ash said

"Don't say it like that..." Lea said as it made it sound like she doesn't like competing and just wants to win

"Not saying don't know your type matchups, but if you go in thinking you have to be in the advantage you will get surprised every time," Ash said as Pikachu agreed

"Sounds like you speak from experience," Lea said as Ash laughed briefly "Any advice?"

"Well, I think as long as you have trust in your Pokémon and you are in sync anything can happen," Ash said "Right buddy?"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu agreed

"Hmm," Lea said taking in his thoughts

"So how many Pokémon do you have now?" Ash asked

"Six," Lea said looking at her phone which had the display to show her current on-hand Pokémon that she can show Ash "Ivysaur, Squirtle, Vulpix, Golduck, Clefairy, and Gastly"

"So out of those six which four do you want to use the most regardless of the gym battle?" Ash asked

"Um... Clefairy, Gastly, Ivysaur, and Vulpix"

"Then there you go there's your team," Ash said as Pikachu agreed

"You make it sound so simple," Lea said

"Well battling should be fun no need to overthink it," Ash said as he prepares to leave

"Thanks, Ash," Lea said

"No problem!"

"Is Sneasel ok?" Lea asked as she remembered what happened earlier today with the Shadow Pokemon

"Well, Sneasel is healthy but there's still no reasoning so far from Nurse Joy about the shadowfied condition she says I might need to see a doctor for better results," Ash said "Trying to get Sneasel to warm up to me has been rougher than I expected"

"Wow must be serious if Nurse Joy can't figure it out," Lea said as Ash nodded "Did you get that device thing taken care of?" Lea said

"Yeah, Officer Jenny is helping me send it to my friend with a security detail," Ash said "Can't afford to say anything else I already got in trouble for involving you haha"

"Sorry" Lea apologized feeling bad as she asserted herself to be involved as Ash shook his head

"No without you I might not have even gotten the device and they understood that as well so we all say thank you," Ash said with a slight bow
