Pokemon: Advanced Quest

Journey Restart: Lea

Viridian City

"Dad I'm 14 I think I'm ready to go on my journey," Lea said "I know you were sick for two years but it's been two years since and you haven't even had a cold"

"Lea..." Lea's dad said

"I already have three Pokemon but little to no battle experience how am I going to be a Pokemon trainer with no battle experience," Lea said

"Lea..." Lea's dad repeated

"I already have a plan, I'm going to challenge the new temporary Viridian City gym leader then head to Pewter city," Lea said

"Lea!" Lea's dad shouted to get her attention "You can go"

"What?" Lea said shocked

"I already packed your stuff," Lea's dad said holding a yellow bag in one hand and a white with a pink ball hat design in his other "You can leave tomorrow if you want"

"Thanks, dad!" Lea said hugging her dad as her dad just chuckled

Meanwhile

"Oh look Viridian City! Dragonite drop us off down there" a boy said from above the city "Let's check the gym first"

The Next day

"Good luck sweetie!" Lea's dad said waving off his daughter as she waved back

"Bye, dad!" Lea said "Okay the gym is to the east so I should get going!" as she started jogging away

Lea was a nice young girl, if not a bit mischievous at times and some called her weird as she was more of a homebody than other kids and teens her age but nearly everyone in the city knew who she was

She wore a new green tank top to replace a blue one she used to wear with a black undershirt and she was wearing a pink skirt with biker shorts underneath,

"Fire!" a voice yelled out making Lea stop in her tracks

"Fire?" Lea said as she headed towards the voice

She went over and saw a house covered in flames, there were numerous spectators and the police was there already, and based on Lea's observation the family that lived there were all out and safe but the fire was still strong

"Squirtle Squad Water Gun!" Officer Jenny said as five Squirtle's all wearing sunglasses were spraying water at the engulfed house

"I could use Psyduck," Lea said her thoughts out loud as she reached for a Pokeball "Go Psyduck"

Psyduck came out of the Pokeball and looked at Lea "Psy?"

"Psyduck Water Gun!" Lea said only to be blasted with water in her face "At the fire!"

"Psy! Duck!" Psyduck said as it sprayed water at the building alongside the Squirtle Squad

"Thanks, Lea" Officer Jenny said noticing Lea and her Psyduck "But it's still not enough the flames are too strong

"Dewott Hydro pump!" a voice called out

A Dewott flipping onto the scene started to spray water from his mouth much larger than the water guns being sprayed, the Dewott started swiveling his head to cover more area

"Sir Hydro Pump could destroy the house" Officer Jenny said as she turned and recognized the guy "Oh Ash!"

"Ash?" Lea said as the name sounded familiar

"Yeah but if you can keep moving it won't be concentrated in one spot," Ash said "Squirtle use Hydro Pump"

"Squirt!" the Squirtle with pointed sunglasses said as it changed from Water Gun to Hydro Pump as it retreated to its shell and started spinning spraying water everywhere covering more area
It took a while but the fire was put out as everyone looked relieved
