Route 7

As the new trio leaves Saffron to head to Celadon City they have decided to take Route 7 a relatively straightforward route to Celadon City

"You should have seen Max get annoyed at Janine," Bonnie said while laughing "They were constantly at each other's throat"

"I wasn't annoyed," Max said "She was just annoying"

Ash and Pikachu started laughing at the two of them "Seems like you two have been having fun" Ash said as Pikachu was still laughing

"Yeah! Even though I was going to travel alone I'm glad I'm not" Bonnie said as she smiled at Max who just focused ahead

"How's your Pokémon?" Ash asked

"Oh yeah, you haven't properly seen all of my Pokemon," Bonnie said stopping in front of them and tossing four balls in the air "Come out!"

Eevee, Pikachu, Horsea, and Venonat appeared

"Cool!" Ash said as he squatted down more on the small Pokémon's level and Pikachu jumped down to greet them as well "Hey I'm Ash and this is my partner Pikachu"

Eevee rushed to hug Ash which was quickly reciprocated, Venonat jumped for joy at a new friend and Horsea just floated with his usual serious expression

"Eevee really loves Ash, of course, Eevee came from Ash so it makes sense," Max said making another note of their bond

"Pikachu?" Bonnie said as her Pikachu was shell shocked at Ash's "What's going on?"

"I think your Pikachu is shocked at how strong Ash's is," Max said

"Oh, yea this is that strong Pikachu I told you about," Bonnie said as her Pikachu was amazed remembering the story when they first met

"Looks like you got a fan Pikachu," Ash said

"Pika?"

The Pokemon interacted, Ash even made his way over to Horsea and rubbed him the right way which got an eye smile

"He just seems to understand Pokemon better," Max said looking at Ash

"I like your team Bonnie, " Ash said

"Wow really?!" Bonnie said as she grabbed her Pokémon in a big hug "We're doing great everyone!" As the Pokémon made noise in excitement

"Oh, here's mine since we're at it, come on out," Max said letting his Pokemon out

"Kirlia Sceptile Nidorino Poliwag Vigoroth and Vibrava," Ash said looking at them all "I'm Ash and this is Pikachu nice to meet you all"

They all gave their greetings and then the Pokemon started to do whatever they felt like whether it was conversing, playing, relaxing, etc.

"Vigoroth is new must of made another secret swap at the Pokemon Center," Bonnie said as she looks at all the Pokemon "It's still not fair you always have 6 and I still have 4"

"Didn't you want to catch another Pokémon?" Max said to Bonnie "Maybe ask Ash what you should catch?

"Oh yeah, any recommendations?" Bonnie asked

"Oh, I don't know, if it was Max maybe I could give one but I think for you Bonnie you just need a good bond with a Pokémon," Ash said as Bonnie looked confused "It doesn't matter if I say a Fire-type or a Fighting type or whatever, you should just catch and work together with whatever Pokémon speaks to your heart" as he pointed to her chest and then smiled

Bonnie had a mild blush from the smile "My heart huh" Bonnie said as she started to think

"What about me?" Max said
