"Or how about Galar? So much to learn over there," Caroline Max's mom said
"I'm going to give Kanto a shot," Max said "Kanto has some of the most notable trainers and the Pokemon are good there too I think it's the logical next step"
"Well take this" Norman said handing Max a phone "Your PokeNav is a bit outdated"
"And we already loaded ours and May's contact information in there," Max's mom said
"Thanks, mom, thanks dad," Max said admiring his new phone "I remember Nate making fun of me for no having a phone"
"We know your journey as a trainer hasn't gone exactly as you wanted but just know you've gotten better and it's prevalent" Max's mom said
"From the top 16 to top 8 it's important to know that just because you haven't won the whole thing doesn't make you a less impressive trainer," Norman said "I mean hey you beat me"
"I know, I just know I'm not the best I can be," Max said
"Well I'll make a call and you should be in Pallet before you know it," Norman said "You rushed your way through Sinnoh but you have plenty of time this time so enjoy yourself in Kanto"
