My mouth dropped open from what I was just seeing... Jacob was on his knees with a gun pointed to his head. A few resistance members were in the doorway and one of them aimed their gun at me and walked over to me.

"You betrayed us, Deputy. Now, look at you!" The male resistance member I didn't know the name of shook his gun at me. "Bring in John and the other one!"

My heart dropped when I witnessed the youngest Seed brother tied up with a black eye... And with John was someone I thought I'd never see again... General David Cook. What the hell is he doing here?

"Let them go! You can take me... Please..." I begged the resistance as I held my hands up in the air, my back leaning against the wall.

"Sorry." The male went over to John and placed his revolver against the youngest Seed brother's forehead, the resistance member's finger on the trigger.

Instantly, I sprinted over to the pair, pushing the male resistance member to the side and grabbed his revolver. Before anyone could react, I grabbed the male and put him in a chokehold, placing the revolver against his temple. My adrenaline must've allowed me to do all that. "Anybody moves, anybody says anything, I shoot this guy in the head and eat him for dinner." I snarled at the resistance members. "Do. As. I. Say. Or buddy boy in my arms dies, right here, right now. You let Jacob, David, and John go, alright? And you can have me. I'm all yours. I'm the one you want." I offered the resistance as I choked the man in my arms even tighter, trying to get them riled up and to intimidate them; honestly, I wasn't sure where this newfound strength came from, but I liked it. I was beginning to get dizzy so I backed up into the wall, the man still in my arms; his neck was leaning back to reach my height.

"It's a deal. Just let him go. You don't want to do this." One of the female resistance members spoke up.

"Let Jacob, David, and John go first."

"Bullshit-" The woman growled, but she got cut off by me pulling the hammer of the revolver back.

"We can do this the easy way. Or the hard way. I don't care, just hurry the fuck up. I don't have all day." I scowled, digging the barrel of the revolver harder against his temple, causing him to cry out in pain.

"I'm not letting you go, Axl." Jacob piped up, still on his knees, with a gun to his head.

"Too bad. I have to do this." I paused for a moment, looking at him; his blue eyes were dark and his chest was puffed out while his hands were on the back of his head. I mouthed, "I'll come back for you."

Jacob shook his head. "I'm not losing you again." He stated.

"What are you doing, Jacob?"

"Kill me. Let John, David, and Axl go." Jacob harshly demanded. "Just. Do it. Pussy. I know you want to do this. Let them go and kill me."

"What the hell? No, Jacob, I'm-I'm not going to let you do that." I firmly stood my ground. "Take me! Kill me! Whatever! Do whatever the fuck you want with me and set them free! OR I'M GOING TO KILL THIS MAN! THEN, I WILL KILL EVERY ONE OF YOU! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL!"

"We just want you, Deputy." The female added.

"Well take me! I'm tired of waiting, damnit!" I yelled. "Don't tempt me cause I will do this in a motherfucking heartbeat." I drived the revolver harder into his temple, causing him to whine, blood rushing down to his cheek.

"Deal." One of the five resistance members replied; the woman that had her gun aimed at Jacob holstered her gun.

Immediately, I shot the man in my arms and he fell to the ground. I hid behind the wall as a bullet whizzed by me, barely missing my head.

I heard three more gunshots filling the air. Peeking from behind the wall, I seen Jacob with a gun and two dead resistance members. Well, three including the one that I killed. The last two resistance members tackled Jacob to the ground, holding an AR to his head, taking his gun. Jacob, John, David, and I were the only ones alive along with two resistance members.

"JUST FUCKING TAKE ME!" I screamed, holding onto the wall, dropping the revolver. "I'll do whatever you want."

"Tie Jacob up. We want the Deputy to take her to the jail."

After they tied my boyfriend up, the two resistance members grabbed ahold of me, pushing me forward.

"LET HER GO!" Jacob shouted, trying to get out of the rope that bound him together.

"They're taking me to the jail, Jacob." I told him as I struggled to escape their grip.

"I'm gonna come for you. Don't you worry." Jacob growled from the floor.
