Walking through the door, my eyes filled with horror as I seen Rush on his knees, tied up. My heart dropped at the sight of him.

"Get out of here! Now!" Rush yelled at me.

"I'm not going to leave you here, Thomas." I replied as I started to walk up to him.

"This feels real familiar. Like we've been down this road before." Mickey chuckled, causing me to stop dead in my tracks. "Relax. Stay awhile." She ordered as she hinted at the handcuffs above my head.

Lou walked around me, giving me a death glare.

"I'm not fucking doing it." I growled at the Twins. "Let Rush go and maybe I won't kill you both."

"Not gonna happen." Lou chimed in, still killing me with her eyes.

"C'mon, you've been so good up to this point." Mickey piped up, now behind Thomas. "You do realize what's at stake here, don't you."

I didn't want them to kill my friend so, I reluctantly handcuffed myself, glaring at the Twins. "Let Rush go. Now."

"Look at that. See how easy you can be to get along with? I wanted you to understand that." Mickey clapped as she stepped closer to me. "I wanted you to see that this coulda ended differently if you just listened to us and went away." She got right up in my face. "Instead you chose the stick. Here it is." Mickey moved out of my way as Lou shotgunned Rush's head from behind.

"NO! YOU FUCKING BITCH! YOU FUCKING BITCH!" I screamed as I struggled against my handcuffs.

Thomas' head was blown up into tiny pieces as blood squirted everywhere while his limp body dropped to the ground.

My mouth let out a screech as my hands began smoking, wrath filling my body.

Lou kicked his body, "Oh fuck. Gonna spend all night wiping those hopes and dreams off my boots." She laughed as she threw the shotgun to her sister. "You know before you showed up, everything was fuckin' great." Lou grabbed her helmet and stalked over to me, hitting me in the face with it. "Then Rush came along on that fancy little train with his fancy people and you came out of your little bunker to help— trying to make this place into something it's never— gonna— be." She slammed her helmet into my stomach, knocking the wind out of me; then she hit me in the face twice with it.

My lip was busted and bleeding and both my cheeks were red, probably bruised already.

Mickey walked closer to me, "And when we tried to be reasonable, you thought it'd be a good idea to stir up the pot.

"Over, and over, and over." Lou roared as she kicked me in the chest with her foot and rammed her damn helmet into my stomach twice.

"All because you thought there was a hope for a future. There's no hope for you, no future." Mickey spat in my face

"For any of you!" Lou shouted as she held her beloved helmet in the air, swinging it down on my forearm.

I cried out in pain and rage as my arms started to smoke, feeling uncontrollable power course through my body. The unstoppable beast inside ready to be released. In an instant, I easily broke out of my handcuffs.

"Oh shit!" Mickey yelled, feebly trying to hold me back with her shotgun.

Wrath was all I could feel as I slung her across the room, Mickey flying against the wall with a loud thud, her body making a sickening crack.

"What the fuck..." Lou whispered, frightened as she tried to hit me in the head with her helmet, but failed.

I grabbed her helmet with my hand, it cracking under my powerful grip as I punched Lou in the jaw. Then, I pushed her chest as hard as I could, her body thrusted against the wall behind her; a crack started to form on the concrete wall. Hurriedly, I made it to her before she got up and rammed my fist into her eye.

Behind me, Mickey picked up her shotgun as I turned around towards her. She pulled the trigger, causing me to jump out of the window, my body hitting the ground as my world went black...

I woke up to Lou kicking my side.

"Hmpf... fuck." Lou continued to slam her boot into my ribs.

"Lou! It's done." Mickey scowled, telling her to stop.

Her sister replied, "You saw that alright? How'd she fuckin' hulked out like that?"

Mickey responded, "Everything was normal until they went up North. Maybe it's time we ask 'em freaks some questions."

They walked off as I couldn't keep my head up, slipping into unconsciousness once more...

I don't know how long I was out, but I stood up gradually. Looking up, the window I jumped out of was at least a thirty feet drop. Shakily, I made my way inside the building, my nose dripping blood on the steel steps. Slowly but surely, I made it to the room; opening the door, I limped toward Rush's decollated body. My knees gave out as I kneeled beside my friend's lifeless body. Tears filled my eyes as I tried to speak; my throat tightened and I couldn't get any words out as I hugged his torso. My cries could probably be heard from miles away.

I barely choked out, "I— failed you... R-Rush. S-so sorry."

His blood was all over me, but at that point, I didn't care. I just wish he was still here... He's dead because of me...
