I made it to Rush's scout and hopped out of the car, letting Jacob and Sam stay behind.

"Any update?" I asked the scout as I walked up to him.

"All's quiet so far." He stated matter-of-factly as he looked into his binoculars. "But they could show up any minute now."  The scout put his binoculars up and turned toward me. "I just hope I can warn everyone in time when the Highwaymen show up, Dep. We can't afford to lose-" He got cut off by car horns honking in the distance. "Shit! It's them! Get back to the others! Go!"

In an instant, I ran to my car, putting it in drive, and flooring it to Prosperity.

"What's happening?" Sam questioned, looking behind us to see an empty dirt road.

"The Highwaymen are coming to destroy Prosperity right now." I stated as I kept my eyes on the road.

"What a damn surprise." Jacob snarled as a few Highwaymen ATVs were following us, getting closer. "Sons of bitches." He snapped as he unholstered his glock, rolled down his window and aimed his weapon out of the window at one of the Highwaymen; Jacob pulled the trigger as the Highwayman driving got shot in the head, the four-wheeler immediately swerving, crashing into a tree.

The ATV caught on fire as another four-wheeler was riding my bumper.

"Sam! Jacob! One of you! Get this bastard off my damn bumper!" I demanded, pushing the pedal down harder, reaching the floor; the car groaned as I forced the clunker to reach its maximum speed of eighty-two miles per hour.

Suddenly, one of the Highwaymen started shooting our car; the bullets penetrated the metal. A stray bullet busted out Sam's window, almost killing him as Jacob and Cap both began shooting at the enemies.

After the pair managed to kill the Highwaymen on the other ATV, a vehicle sped up to us. They were trying to ram us off the road.

"You motherfuckers!" I growled, ramming their vehicle with mine, coercing their car to wreck into a ditch. "Whewww! Fuck yeah!"

Soon, my radio buzzed, "It's Rush. Get back here now! There's a group of Highwaymen headed right for us."

"Copy that, Thomas. Almost there. Dep out." I replied, glancing in the rear view mirror. "You guys see any Highwaymen?"

Jacob took a quick look behind him to see no enemy in sight, "...No. Just keep driving."

I scoffed, "I know that."

A couple minutes passed and we finally made it to Prosperity. I slammed on my brakes, causing us to drift a tad as I put the shitbox in park.

"Let's kick some ass." Sam grinned at me as we all jumped out of the car.

Highwaymen were surround Prosperity as we began fighting them off as best as we could.

"We can't open the gates, it's too risky! Clear those bastards out." Rush added through my CB.

I wish I could've responded, but I couldn't; I was in the middle of killing Highwaymen. So, I just continued on.

Eventually, we cleared out all the Highwaymen. I had a few close calls, but I'm still breathing.

Anyway, Thomas chimed in through the radio, "We're gonna open the gates now. Just hang tight, Dep." After the gates opened and we all three entered Prosperity, Rush piped up, "Saddle up, this isn't over yet. Here they come, give 'em hell!"

Fuck.

Jacob, Sam, and I climbed up on the wall to defend our home. More Highwaymen showed up to the party, looking for a fight. And they sure as hell were gonna get one...
