The roads were quiet and empty, enough for Chanhee to feel so relaxed. Though he hasn't gotten his drivers licenses yet, he still enjoyed the company of the pedal below his foot and his fingers wrapped around the steering wheel.
Which is why he volunteered to grab the food for everyone and bring it back to Hak's house as they prepared for the party tomorrow. The flashing colored lights of the street lights caused for a faint smile to creep into Chanhee's lips.
Everything seemed too black and white lately. As if everything was in a mono filter where the ittiest bits of color made Everyone feel a tad bit more alive.
Chanhee sighed as he had finally made it to the empty parking lot of chick-fil-a. The sky was still quite dark and the tinted windows of Haknyeon's car he had borrowed were still fogged up. He opened the door hesitantly, not ready to feel the wind blowing breeze he had not been used to.
He pulled the sides of his jacket close as his hands dug into the cozy pockets. He opened the door where he had smelled the chicken and the grease from the fries. His black converse took steps further into the line.
After receiving the number from his order, he made his way to a table close by. His hand rested below his chin while trying his best to remain awake even if his eyes threatened to close every now and then. But that's when he heard it.
The faint giggle he felt as if it was right on the back of his neck. He almost forgot how fuzzy it made him feel. So fuzzy it made him sick. Sick to the stomach. He gulped as he hoped that it wasn't the person he supposed it was.
He tried so hard. But it was difficult when he felt a touch on his shoulder lightly.
"Chanhee?" The male said in question, eyes in amuse once meeting eyes with the seated boy who tried his best not to look away from the eye contact. Though he just couldn't bare to stare into his eyes any longer.
"Hey juyeon"
Chanhee scratched the back of his neck. Juyeon was the first guy Chanhee had really talked to. They met when volunteering in a elderly care center. And for the first time, Chanhee felt as if Juyeon was his everything.
Though things didn't work out. Juyeon breakingly told the boy that he had interest in someone else and that they were better off as friends. Though What hurt the most was that Juyeon could of at least said it face to face.
Or at least call him normally like he promised he would do.
Instead Chanhee was left broken, was it perhaps something he did wrong? Did juyeon want more that he could never give him? And why was Juyeon the only person that had ever made him feel this way?.
