Taking a step into the room they are greeted by Hal, the person Razor had mentioned previously. Hal held a strong resemblance to King Regis but his hair is a more considerably darker grey with Ace confirming their potential relation.
"Take a seat, I've heard quite a bit about you." He gestured as he pointed to the nearby sofas.
Doing like he asked Ace sat down followed by Razor and Elora.
"Razor must've already told you about me, but for formalities sake, I will introduce myself. I am Hal, if you haven't noticed already I am Regis' younger brother."
Ace felt a much more approachable demeanour from Hal. He had a much more medium build from his body structure with no signs of muscle compared to Regis and from presence alone knew he wasn't much of a fighter. Ace knew he did not need to be on guard with this kind of man.
"I'm Ace. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Doing a small bow.
Hal looked up to the masked Elora and smiled.
"So this is the one you told me about Razor? Elora is it? It is an honour to meet you." Hal bowed towards her.
"Likewise Hal. I've remembered how our people thought of you."
"Of course. If only my brother didn't destroy your kingdom... I would be there strengthening our relationship with the Demi-humans and Demonfolk and yet your appearance now um, Razor I could've sworn you've told me she's a Demi-human."
Hal says as he looks at Elora with a confused expression. Looking for any indication of any Demi-human futures.
"She is, Ace here managed to break her collar, right now she transformed her appearance, just in case," Razor said.
Upon hearing that Elora's collar was broken Hal's eyes widened and changed his attention over to Ace sitting down understanding he is more than just a summoned Hero.
"Huh...? How so?" Hal turned his head to Ace.
"My newfound abilities from the Dungeon."
"Amazing... if you broke down the slave collar then the ideal kingdom will truly be realised... Ahem... Back on topic... with Ace's survival, I can assume you'd actually completed the dungeon. Even taming a little friend in the process." Hal's eyes focused on Darklin for a split second before returning to Ace.
Darklin turned his eyes towards Hal and remained silent as if he were waiting for Ace to reply to Hal's words.
"That's true."
"So if I may, what sacred treasure did you find at the end of the dungeon?" Hal leaned forward.
"Before answering, I'm rather interested in your standing in this kingdom. Razor told me you are against King Regis' agenda is that true?"
"That is correct. The man ruling the kingdom right now... well, the so-called 'future emperor of Alterea' is causing a decline in our kingdom's growth. Our economic situation right now is in shambles and my introduced policies are barely keeping everything together. All because of his grand scheme.
"And what would you plan if you gained such control?"
"If I can, I'd try to stop this foolish war of course. I'm more interested in making this kingdom wealthy rather than expanding. Why is there something to ask of me? Believe me, I'm not some angry warlord."
"You're quite honest wanting to make this kingdom rich. So what are you doing to achieve your goal of overthrowing your brother? Not sure about you but he's the kind of guy to rule with an iron fist. Plus he seems to do whatever it takes to get what he wants..."
