Since Darklin had just woken up, Ace had given a quick summary of what was to come in the future. From the rebuilding of the Inera Kingdom, the future rescues, and Ace's preparation for the Oracle Fields. Darklin had listened to it all. He was impressed how Ace had predicted the following location of the incoming Fallen wave, yet he still has his concerns.
"Ace, this Oracle Field, it is an obvious trap. With a big battle with how many kingdoms it will be chaotic, and all the Fallen will aim for you."
"Yet Vumor is targeting Aria." Ace said with concern.
"...And what will you do after you manage to save her? Surely she will be targetted again, you are keeping your survival a secret to this Creles King, are you not?"
"I... Tsk, I'll figure it out after I save her. Aria and my friend's survival is all that matters."
"As long as you fulfil your objective. I promise I will protect this Kingdom as I have promised years ago."
"Heh, that's why I'm glad you're awake, partner." Ace faintly smiled.
"Since when did you refer to me to such a term."
"Ah, it must've slipped out recently. You've covered my back and supported me this entire time sometimes calling you partner fits the situation. I can stop if you want me to."
"I do not mind. It is quite endearing to me."
The group had just reached the exit, finally moving towards the Kingdom's centre. The sight of numerous demonfolk together had made Darklin astonished at Ace and Yuni's achievements. He was watching them rebuild what was lost, evoking Darklin's familiar memories of the past Inera Kingdom.
"Ah what a reminiscing sight."
"Will anyone else recognise that you're their Elder Drake?" Ace had asked him.
"Of course, Yuni and Elora already have from the start and to be honest it makes you even more respectable to the others does it not?"
"I guess that's true..."
Darklin looked behind, noticing Alpha right behind Ace like a loyal soldier. With curiosity, he asked him. "May I ask about your tasks today? You brought your golem with us, and we're slowly heading towards the citizens."
"It's an Automaton rather than a Golem. I'm bringing it to the craftsmen to see if they can replicate my work. The Demonfolk may be strong, but we desperately need manpower if we're going to fight Vumor's armies."
After walking for some time, the nearby citizens greeted Ace and bowed down to him after noticing his presence. They referred to him as 'Your Majesty' and 'King Ace', causing Ace to frown at his new titles. But his frowning stopped noticing Yuni from a distance. She gave orders and began rallying the citizens about their upcoming plans with bursting energy. Darklin looked up to see Ace faintly smiling at the sight.
"Hello, so-called Ineran King." Razor had appeared beside Ace, greeting him in a joking manner. However, the moment he had noticed Alpha's appearance, he backed off, seeing that it wasn't a living being. "What the..."
"You look more surprised at my masterwork than meeting Darklin for the first time." Ace commented.
"Masterwork?! Darklin can be considered a regular adventurer's pet but a walking golem is something else. I'm glad Darklin is still alive and kicking." Razor says, looking in Darklin's direction. Darklin nodded in response while Razor returned to look at Alpha with a speechless expression on his face.
Wanting to surprise Razor further, Ace decided to give him a simple order.
"Alpha-1 introduce yourself." Ace instructed.
