It's been a few days since they departed from the kingdom. Aria stood by the fire with some of the girls from her class, staring blankly into the flames while the others chatted around her. Silently accepting rations from Freya, who stood beside her, she was just about to take a bite when she felt a light tap on the top of her head.

"Guess who?" A playful woman's voice called from behind.

"Olivia...?" Aria recognized the voice and turned around with a stiff smile.

"Correct!" Olivia replied, her face lighting up with a brimming smile.

Taking a closer look at Olivia's bright expression, Aria noticed a change in her aura. Olivia seemed more cheerful and bubbly than before, though the reason was unclear. Instead of asking what had put her in such a good mood, Aria posed a different question.

"When did you get here?"

"A few minutes ago," Olivia replied. "We arrived as the second wave of reinforcements, but it looks like nothing has happened yet." She glanced around, noting the tents set up, the absence of injured soldiers, and the high morale in the camp.

"We haven't encountered any enemies yet," Aria said.

"Well, we're only a few days away from the nearby fortress. It'll take some time before we see any action," Olivia remarked.

Freya, standing beside Aria, stared at Olivia with a curious expression. Olivia noticed and blinked, meeting Freya's gaze.

"Ah, where are my manners? I'm Olivia, Aria's trainer. I assume you're Ace's sister, given the strong resemblance," Olivia said confidently.

Freya immediately face-palmed at Olivia's assumption, her expression bothered.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Freya. But you're wrong. Ace and I are cousins. We look very similar because our mothers are twins," Freya replied with a blank expression.

"Oh...! I'm so sorry! I was too quick to judge," Olivia said, bowing her head.

"Well, it's not the first time. You're just part of the majority who assume we're siblings. While a small minority thought we were something else." Freya said, turning to Aria with a judgemental stare.

"Stop going on about that. It's been more than a year. Please give it a rest," Aria replied, a hint of exasperation in her voice.

"Hehe, is that so?" Olivia laughed, amused by the thought.

"Hey, who's that?" Hilda peeked her head out from behind Freya.

"Is that Aria's trainer?" Mia joined in, curious.

"No fair, she looks much nicer than ours, doesn't she, Hilda?" Bridget nudged Hilda gently.

With Olivia's appearance, Aria's classmates gathered around her, introducing themselves and engaging in various conversations. They quickly began to compare their trainers to Olivia, grumbling about the differences. Olivia grinned at Aria, fully aware of how tough her training regimen was.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Everyone, listen up!" Ancel's voice boomed as he appeared in the centre of the encampment, banging his shield. Beside him, a small floating crystal amplified his voice like a microphone.

"We'll be departing now. Everyone, pack up your tents! We've received word that the Cromor and Alinia armies are advancing toward the border. We need to bolster our defenses beyond the fortress immediately," Ancel announced.

"Hmm? Is Ancel leading this battalion? He's moving up the ranks rather quickly," Olivia commented as she listened.

"Recently, it seems like he's become much stronger," Aria replied, recalling their time in the dungeon. The most obvious signs were his more powerful sword swings and enhanced magical abilities compared to when he fought the Fallen that killed Ace.
