Chapter 75: The Blood To Save Her

"Go on, save her from us-" Georgia says, accepting her fate.

Ace swung his blade, ready to disconnect Georgia's head from her body until he heard a faint cough beside him.

He suddenly stopped as Aria was in no situation for him to focus on the girls in front of him. Ace would waste a few seconds if he sliced off Georgia's head. Instead, he used the motion of his body to deliver a powerful reverse kick knocking her back.

"Uhg...!"

"Next time I see you, I'll give you the death you want."

Ace turned his attention to Aria, who was close to death and swiftly carried her out of the battlefield. The moment he lifted Aria's body, Ace turned his sight to Georgia, who looked at Ace with a gentle expression despite receiving a powerful kick. She gave a little wave mouthing out the words.

'I'll be waiting...'

'Why are you so eager to die? What happened to the Georgia I remember?'

Ace ran back, making his way towards his ground of friends, but he had to make sure that Aria was either conscious enough to stay alive or still had enough tenacity to not give in to death's door.

"Ace...? Ahh... Ace...! My prince~! *Cough*" Aria had begun to become delusional. "Ahhh... my prince has come to save me~!" Her angelic complexation had been shrivelled away thanks to the lack of blood in her body. She was just moments away from becoming a corpse in Ace's arms.

"Just save your breath. I'm here now... I'll quickly get Vella to heal you hold on."

Looking at Aria's body, her wounds were still open as they continued to drip out blood as Ace dashed each metre away. The stab wound on her thighs to the stab wound on her back, and to top it all off, a missing arm. It was a miracle that Aria had enough energy to mutter a few sentences.

"Shit! Hold on. I'll cauterise your wounds. It's going to sting a bit just hang it there."

Ace laid her body down and immediately put up an earth wall to block the enemy's sight of their vulnerability. Using both hands, he diverted his right hand to cauterise what remained of Aria's arm and his other to cauterise the wounds he could reach.

"Ah.....AHHH!!" Aria screamed in pain in response before passing out.

"Just bare with me. Oh no, your arm...! You're going to be okay! I swear it!"

After a quick minute, Ace managed to close off all her wounds, but her body was becoming colder and colder.

'Shit-shit-shit! Aria's going to die...! I-I... what should I do?!'

Ace breathed heavily in and out, panicking in his train of thought.

Instinctively, Ace reached for his makeshift phone and called Freya immediately.

"Freya! Where are you guys! I need Vella here now quickly! Aria's dying! I don't have any spells to save her!"

'We can't jump over a mountain like you! We're still on the way...! Shit...! Huh? What are you saying Vella? You don't think you have enough mana even if we make it?'

Ace can hear some faint chattering behind Freya. His eyes widened upon hearing Vella's current condition.

"What...? Is Vella out of mana?!" Ace shouted.

'Fuck...! She used too much in the previous fights...! How is Aria? Can't you do anything?

"I-I don't know!" Ace says with panic in his voice.

'I'll hand over to Vella she might know something to help on your end!'

'Ace..!. How is she?! What's her status?!' Vella took over.
