The group spent several battles worth of time within the dungeon. Passing through rooms consisting of wolves, slimes and small rock golems. The more they fought and battled the more they sensed that their bodies were getting used to combat. Their nerves slowly went away being used to the sensation of killing a life form.
Everyone's levels have risen with their stats following suit of these changes.

There was only one floor left until both groups eventually met up. There is a warp point that allows everyone to go back to the entrance of the dungeon. In a typical dungeon, it acts as a rest area for Heroes and Adventurers alike before they progress to the next floor. But this is a dungeon that the Heroes and other approved people are allowed in due to the vicinity of its location to the King's castle.
"Come on we're almost there. Dave is and his group is probably waiting by now." Ancel announced.
'With everyone's performance with the other fights, they're hesitating less. That's good. If that same principle can be applied on human opponents I hope they don't back down when it comes to it.' Ace thought to himself.
"Aria great job on covering for us," Alan said to her.
"You did a great job as well Alan if it weren't for you I would probably have a hard time," Aria replied;
"I think the real MVP was Ace, watching him dash around killing enemies left to right made the waves much easier to deal with," Glenn commented.
"Try not to hesitate next time." Ace fired.
"Hey! I'm not like you, trying to do my best here." He replied.
"Don't worry I think you've done well." Freya complimented him.
"Huh...?! Oh um... yeah." Glenn froze the moment Freya went up to him and tried hard to act cool only for her to stare at him with a blank expression.
Everyone finished up their small talk and proceeded deeper into the dungeon. Everyone's morale was high after having their first experience fighting the monsters that reside in the dungeon.
'With them here we can probably end the war very soon if we can use them well. Though that's only for an optimistic mindset. No one doesn't have to die this time either if they're all so promising.'
Ancel who walked behind them kept note of everyone's progress and responses to the enemy. He knew this group was different from the last time only hoping that they would be as strong as the prodigy they once had within the previous group of heroes.
The magic gems shined brightly on the stairs leading their way down to the 5th floor only by surprise Group A finally met up with Group B having the class reunited together as one full group. There was a warp point where half of the class was waiting and their relief of seeing their classmates caused most of them to run up to greet their friends.
"I thought you guys would be here first." Warren went up to greet them.
"Looks like things are fine on your end." Ace said to him.
"We got used to the fighting after a few battles, hopefully, it can be applied the same to the war." Vella joined in the conversation.
"That very thought scares me..." Aria held on to her spear tightly.
