"What are you and Jaemin doing today?" Minseo asked, throwing her practice bag into the backseat. Hyerin leant onto her own car, twirling her keys while Minseo rolled her window down, the crisp air battling with the heater. "Well, he told me it was a surprise- but I do know he bought me this gorgeous purple dress, so I'm guessing it's gonna be a dinner." the brunette grinned from ear to ear at the thought of her boyfriend. "What about you?"
A small smile grazed her own lips, recalling their conversation from last night. "I'm having dinner too. He told me we're eating at the Gibbous Steakhouse." Minseo hummed, pulling her hair out of the messy ponytail. Hyerin's gasp almost made her flinch, the girl leaning closer to the window. "The Gibbous? Shit, he must be a sugar daddy." she said, impressed. "You must be getting dolled up tonight! It has the most beautiful view of the Moon River from the highest point of the Republic, so many celebrities eat there." she rambled, hoping her own boyfriend planned something just as extravagant.
"Oh, wow. I didn't know he would do that for me." Minseo's smile grew at the thought, and for once, she wasn't doubting him. Minjun jumped into the front seat, his scent greeting her unpleasantly as he put his seatbelt on. As Minseo waved goodbye to Hyerin, she shot a nasty look at him. "You're making me have second thoughts closing this window." she grumbled, pulling out on route to their house.
"This is what a man smells like." Minjun smirked, reclining the seat comfortably. Minseo almost gagged, rolling her eyes at him. "Are you seeing Seongbin today?" he asked. Nodding at the question for the millionth time someone had asked her the past week, the younger boy nodded. "Cool, what time?" he followed up with another question. Minseo stopped at the stop sign, looking at him momentarily. "Okay, what do you want?" she replied, making the boy's face contort into surprise. "What do you mean? Can't I just... want to know more about my sister's plans?" he shrugged dramatically, earning a chuckle from her. "Sure. You usually ask me about Hyuck more than Seongbin, something's up." she pointed out.
"That's cause Hyuck plays cooler games!" he exclaimed. Minseo chuckled again. "I think he said the reservation is at seven and it's about twenty minutes away, so I'm leaving at 6:30. Let me guess, you're using me for a ride." she mapped out his entire plan. "What? I wouldn't say using! I'm just... utilizing my sister so I could go somewhere?"
"Jun, you basically just said you're using me." she lowered her eyes at him, making his head throw back in frustration. "I'm kidding. What do you have planned, a date? You're usually always home on your Playstation on Valentines." she questioned. The boy's cheeks went unnoticed to her, thankfully, and he shrugged unconfidently. "Sure, you could say that." he murmured and Minseo slammed on the breaks.
"My little brother is going on a date?" she yelled. Minjun's eyes widened, seeing the birds from outside fly away in fear. "Mins! Gosh, this is why I didn't want to say it, I knew you'd freak. Just please don't tell mom and dad." he begged as she parked the car in their driveway. Minseo plastered the goofiest grin on her face, swinging her bags back and forth with giddiness. "You're growing up so fast." she fake sobbed into the cuff of her shirt. His face couldn't look any more annoyed, marching into the house and as far away from her as he could.
