"i guess it's overdue
tell me your point of view
tell me, am i to blame?
you're so good with change.""You still can't drink slurpees without staining your entire mouth." Minseo furrowed her eyebrows at the green hue plastered all over Minjun's lips. They sat in the parking lot of the gas station under the moonlight, their bodies thanking them as the cool liquids contrasted with the waves of heat in the air. He let out a dramatic exhale of enjoyment, sticking out his green apple tongue.
"And you still have zero taste. Green apple will always be superior." he reclined his seat. No matter how old he got, he was still the same old Minjun. His voice had finally dropped two years ago, he hit his growth spurt and sprouted up to six feet tall. His hair had grown out in the back as a mullet and had the real body of a basketball player. Yet, beneath all the puberty, he was still the same annoying little brother.
"You kiss Renshu with that mouth?" she teased. He rolled his eyes, a small smile creeping onto his stained lips.
"Shut up. At least I actually have a boyfriend, you haven't had one in three years." he struck back. Minseo shoved his shoulder, rolling her eyes the same way he did. Despite the two not being actual siblings, you would've never guessed with their uncanny mannerisms.
"I don't know how he's put up with you for almost two years now. I also can't believe you didn't tell me about you guys until a year later." she grumbled. Minjun laughed, staring down at his lock screen of them at the river. "Whatever, you didn't tell me about your die hard crush on Hyuck until after he left."
"You'll never let that go, will you?"
"Nope." he hummed in content. "I will say, he's always been my favorite amongst your hook ups."
"Minjun!" she gasped, slapping him on the shoulder a little harder this time. "He wasn't a hookup and I've only had like two. God, I can't believe I told you about my hookups when I was drunk that one night." she crossed her arms. He glanced over at the screen that displayed the radio, seeing a familiar name plastered as the song boomed quietly through the speakers. "You know, he's coming back to the Republic soon. Maybe that's your second chance." he shrugged. Minseo lowered her eyelids at him, pressing the off button.
"Why is everyone talking to me about him? It's not like him and I ever dated, nor will we date now."
"Who knows? It's kinda weird hearing songs about my sister on the radio. I wish he sang about his cool gaming partner." he fake sobbed, reminiscing the memories they made when he was fifteen. "First off, his songs are not about me. Second, do you guys really still game together?" she questioned.
"Whenever he's online, which isn't too often, we catch up. Aside from all the superstar stuff, he's still the same." the corners of his lips tugged slightly upwards at the bond that hadn't been broken, despite all the factors that could've torn it apart. "He asks me about you."
