"Yoo Hyerin!" Chenle yelled as he stood up on his feet, watching as she spontaneously spiked the last point to victory.
The left side of the bleachers all applauded in celebration, seeing the sweaty girls pant on the court. With a wide grin on her face, Minseo walked over to the rest of them.
"You guys did amazing!" she gleamed, even with the pulsing in her temples. Hyerin pulled her in for a rather humid hug, yet she still radiated the aroma of what sunshine and butterflies would smell like.
"You did amazing, you pushed through for more than half the game!" she squealed, the high pitch of her voice piercing through the supposed migraine forming in her brain.
And for once, her smile was unwavering.
Both teams lined up, walking along the net to give high fives as a sign of respect. The two girls strolled to the locker room together, hurriedly packing up their stuff as their stomachs grumbled.
"Where do you wanna eat? Your pick, all star." Hyerin chuckled, slinging her bag over her sore shoulder.
Minseo's eyes widened at the offer. "With the rest of them?" she wondered out loud.
"Duh, we always eat out together after games. Plus, I'm your ride home, so we have to eat out." she smiled, the two of them making their way to the parking lot where the rest of them stood.
She was almost taken aback by the kindness, never able to really have that opportunity back in Jaegu. "I-"
"You guys did freaking amazing!" Seorin's voice cut her off as they approached the familiar lineup of cars, feeling herself pulled into the embrace of the blue haired girl.
"That was so cold!" Minjun cheered, earning a confused look from Renshu.
"Cold? You mean the weather?" he questioned. The taller one laughed, nudging his shoulder. "Another slang term, it means they're really good." he explained.
Jaemin took Hyerin's bag, holding it with his shoulders. "That was a great winning shot, love." he cooed, pressing his lips against hers for everyone to see.
"Oh my." Jeno reached over to cover Chenle's eyes.
"Get a room." Jisung rolled his, covering them with his own palm. Seorin giggled, snuggling into his side as she also shut her sapphire orbs.
"Babies." Minseo heard a voice from behind, almost startling her. She craned her neck up to see the brown haired boy, some of the locks peeking through his hood.
"How's your head?"
She let out a bitter noise, crossing her arms in annoyance. "Hurt like shit, but I think I just need to eat something." she shrugged, turning her body to face his.
Hyuck smiled down at her, stifling his laughter when his eyes landed on the small bruise formed at the bridge of her nose. "It's like a shit stain." he snickered, making her punch his shoulder.
