"Follow the light with your eyes."

Wincing at the initial burning, she pressed her lips into a fine line in attempt to follow the doctor's instructions.

"Ah, I see you're having a bit of trouble." she cracked a smile, switching off the small flashlight.

The hospital, a place she'd never been to all too much. It was different from the leather seats of the therapist's room, everything was much colder. The discomfort of the thin crunch paper underneath her didn't help, bringing her to unease.

"Thankfully, it's more a minor one- but you do have a concussion. I'd say rest during the remainder of the weekend, but if it worsens take a day off of school. I wouldn't suggest playing at this week's game either, Miss Choi."

She couldn't help the frown creeping onto her lips, but she had no other choice but to agree. It was her first time experiencing an injury aside from small finger sprains or rolling of the ankles. Minseo never missed a game.

"Looking at your medical history you seem to be an overall healthy girl..." the doctor mumbled, flipping through the documents on her clipboard.

"To help the pain, take no more than one pain killer a day. Unfortunately, it might wear off, but with your other prescription any other dosage would be too much for you to handle."

Oh great, now I'll have to be in pain all day too.

"Although it's a minor concussion, it might worsen the chemical imbalance you already had in your brain, so come in next week for another check up, alright?" she scribbled some notes down onto the papers.

Minseo's eyebrows pinched together at the foreign information.

I have chemical imbalance in my brain?

"Other than that, you are free to go. If you head to the receptionist, she'll give you a pass to excuse you from any school participation." the classic pearly doctor whites shined, exiting the room before she could even question it.

She remained sitting on top of the uncomfortable sheet of white paper, her nails digging into material of it. The silence was comforting, but it didn't remain as her mind started echoing a plethora of questions.

Making her way out of the room, she entered the elevator and pressed the first floor. The groovy music was playing as she stood in there alone, reassuring herself that the lift wouldn't just stop out of nowhere.

It halted at the second floor, the doors sliding open to reveal a cart- and a light haired boy pushing it from the handles.

"Renjun?"

He looked up in a sweat, tiredly lugging it into the small space. "Minseo! What are you doing here?" he asked out of breath.

"I got hit in the face yesterday, now I have a concussion." she spoke dryly, already annoyed of the situation as it was. He let out a low whistle, opening his mouth into an awkward smile.
