"you're my everything
i want to protect your days and nights
you're a miracle to me
i wish you could see it."

"And it turns out, another girl tried to hold his hand on the playground!" Aerin whined, laying on the rug of her fully purple room. Minseo's jaw dropped in response, scrunched up on the small children's chair where the play kitchen was. "No he didn't." she gasped, playing with the handles of the pretend sink.

"When he saw me upset, he picked all the daisies in the grass for me. He promised to never ever do it again. It was so sweet, ever since then he never hurt me again." the little girl cooed, staring up at the glow in the dark star stickers on her ceiling. "You know, he noticed I lost some of my toofs- he gave me one of his!"

Then, Minseo's face scrunched up in disgust. She faced the little girl who was missing one of her bottom teeth nearing the back, her not-so-toothful grin gleaming. Despite the rather unsanitary action, Minseo laughed at the wholesomeness. "How romantic. Jeez, you and Little Jae have a better love life than me." she grumbled bitterly. Aerin inched near her, placing her hands on Minseo's knees to stand up. "I can be sad if you're sad. Sometimes being around sad people makes you feel a little less... bad." she suggested. When Minseo looked down at her, the younger girl's eyes were welling up with tears.

"W-What? You don't need to cry!" she panicked, wiping away a stray one that fell. Aerin chuckled, shaking her head playfully. "I'm not actually sad, I'm just good at acting." she teased. Minseo laughed through her sorrowful expression, reaching into her purse. "Breadstick?" she offered after stealing the entire bowl before leaving. "Don't mind if I do, Miss Minsies." Aerin and her did a small cheers, taking bites of the deliciously soft dough.

"Wow, these are really good. Where did you get them?" Aerin exclaimed, eyes widened at the flavor. "The most expensive restaurant in the Republic." she responded, eyes rolling momentarily. The sound of the door opening interrupted their conversation, greeted by the two people who were actually her age. "Minseo, are you feeling better?" Seorin said gently, taking a seat beside her at the kids table. Jisung sat with his legs spread across the floor, Aerin crawling into his lap.

"Just heard about this girl's entire love life and damn, I really am lonely." her words laced with self deprecation. The boy sighed, cracking his neck side to side. "You know, as your brother, I think I have every right to beat that guy's ass with and without your consent." he hissed. In a time Seorin would probably tell him to calm down, she was equally infuriated. When she got the call from Minseo sobbing with the windows down on the highway to dry away her tears, it seemed like she took the babysitting offer quite literally. Minseo sat before them with messy makeup, mascara gathered where her eyebags should be. Her lip gloss was basically gone after her 'meal', which consisted of water and breadsticks, and her hair was clearly thrown around after the emotional car ride.

"Cheer up, babes. You can even spend the night if you want." Seorin placed a comforting hand onto her shoulder. No matter the mood, the serene girl always knew how to calm the storm brewing in her tsunami of a heart. Minseo sadly chuckled, shaking her head. "I'll probably head home and listen to my sad playlist. I couldn't really go home just yet without my parents asking why I was there so early." she sighed, shooting her a silent 'thank you'. Jisung's eyes flickered a slight shade of red, also shaking his head as he pulled out his phone.
