Chapter 17

Well today's Sunday, and I basically only have a few tests to study for. I did try working out in my room in secret to make myself stronger, though I obviously got distracted and took some breaks in the middle of it due to how unfit I am.

I hope this makes me stronger, I may have to ask Rider or someone what to do to train myself since I am pretty sure training once a week isn't enough to become stronger to help in some missions. If I do get a weapon, I hope it's cool. I don't think I would be able to get a sword, since I don't think I would be good at melee fighting. So I may just go for weapons like bows, they have range yet they aren't long range, so should be good. I also have good aim in video games, I don't know about real life though. Though guns, daggers and knives would be nice as well.

I cooked egg fried rice for lunch, hopefully uncle roger approves. I inhaled the food like Kirby and started studying for the never ending tests. Seriously, we never get a break for tests, one time I got 7 tests a day.

My Japanese is still mediocre and I almost failed the last test that I had on Japanese. I really need to improve or else my parents won't approve and I won't get into UA, which is my top priority now.

I am doing ok on the other subjects, my English is actually the best in the whole grade though I can't stay that about math and science though.

I spent the whole afternoon revising, it sounds depressing but that's the life of an average student in an Asian country. I went out with my family for food since we were feeling lazy, we went for sushi and I added a lot of soy sauce to mine. My sister cringed at the amount of soy sauce I soak my sushi with, while my dad approved of my choice.

And of course after we step out of the restaurant, there has to be an accident that's going on. How did I know? Heroes rushing to the left street. Am I going to bother? No, since my family is here. I looked at them and said "Let's leave." They just nodded since we obviously are used to a lot of accidents happening around us, it's just normal in this world. Though normally there isn't this much danger, did the crime rate increase or am I just unlucky? Whatever, we left the premises already, got bubble tea in the middle of it, of course without ice since that means I will get more of the tea, and then got home after a walk of 10 minutes.

Though during the walk I thought I kept on seeing a shadow in the corner of my eye, must be my own problem since no one in my family seemed to have noticed. Oh wait, is this related to the snipers and their special abilities? I hope not since I don't want to deal with it. I can't just take out my pager and text the Snipers about this since my family is around and I can't just use the device Rider gave me since he probably doesn't know that a person or creature is following me.

So when we arrived home, I washed my hands for 20 seconds, then ran to my room, slammed the door close and told the snipers that I saw a shadow out of the corner of my eye. After a few minutes, Rider replied saying that they will investigate this as well and to not worry for now.

After that, I watched gameplay videos of Danganronpa on YouTube since I am too poor to afford the actual game. I also reread the first few chapters of the shokugeki no soma manga since it has a nice plot, can't really say that for season 5 though. I am only there for the story and plot lines by the way, not the hentai, but it is still nice I guess.

I went back to studying whilst jamming to the OST of final fantasy 7, it sounds very pretty and honestly I love it even though I like songs with aggressive electric guitars, drums and bass more. I tried to remember all the biology stuff, revised lights for physics and did more math to burn the formulas into my brain.

After that, I decided to sleep at 1 AM and went into dreamland.
