Sorry about the really late update (not that I have a serious update schedule) , I've been busy doing stuff this week. Hopefully you like this chapter!
The next day I went to school, the class teacher announced that the annual ever-so-popular UA sports festival is going to happen in a few weeks away.
Chatter immediately filled the room, some excited while some scared. Looking at Shinso, his face still looked emotionless as usual but from his eyes I could tell even he was excited to participate in this sports festival, this was a chance for him to prove himself and get into the hero course after all.
Personally, I don't feel much about this sports festival. I never wanted to participate in the sports festival as I had no reason to and from my previous years of living in another country, I could tell that it just attracts too much attention, some people would turn on their TVs and take a day off work just to watch the live version of the UA sports festival. Now that I moved to Japan, I could feel even more hype present in people's hearts, this is one of the biggest events of the year after all, the tickets get so expensive and people still are willing to pay a lot for them.
"I know you guys are excited about the sports festival, but listen, there are rules you need to follow. Please grab one of papers I am giving out now, they have all the details about the sports festival." Said the teacher.
I grabbed one of the papers and looked through it, the rules are reasonable and normal. Wait, did they say all general course students must participate in the sports festival as contenders?! I read through it one more time and my eyes did not play tricks on me, it was confirmed that I must participate in this sports festival as I had no injuries or excuses. Looking around me, I saw no one questioning this rule, I guess it does make sense, most of the general course students are the ones who couldn't get into the hero course. To my dismay, it seems that I'll have to fake my skills in order to lose in the first round and not proceed to enter the second round. Even if my skills improved due to acting as Robin Hood for six months, I still wouldn't be able to compete with people with quirks that made them superhuman in a certain way, but I still need to fake my skills as (L/N) (Y/N) is not meant to be sporty or speedy.
After years of watching the UA sports festival, I could gather that the first round would be an elimination round as they always thin out the contenders in that round. Most of the hero course students would pass the first round with a few students from the other courses also passing. The second round was usually something that involves students eliminating each other through some method like a battle royale, the hero course students usually end up winning this round with ease. Then the third round would have to be something like a tournament for the contenders to show off their strong points, the winners once again usually end up being the hero course students.
Then the bell rang and the next lesson started.

"You did good! I like the colours and the designs you went with! I suggest you use this one as the final piece, it's composition is nice and the person's posture is really accurate." Remarked Midnight as she commented on my sketches.
"Thanks."
After that, Midnight left me to go comment on other people's artwork. I looked back down at my sketch book and realised that she chose the one with the person based off of Kaibara. I smiled to myself, I really have to thank him for this.

I was on my way to the cafeteria, I passed by broccoli head who was talking to Iida and Uraraka? Not sure if that's her name, but I'll just go with it, that's when I overheard Uraraka saying something determinedly.
