Chapter 36

I was going through the contents in my school bag when I saw the Franco-Belgian comic I carefully placed inside it earlier this morning. This reminded me of the fact that I still had no idea on how I should return it to him or whether I should even return it to him, I literally just brought it to school to make sure I had everything with me just in case something went wrong. Not that anything went wrong, for all I know, thankfully Monoma has not shared the information that I am Robin Hood as the internet was not going crazy over it.

Avoiding the Monoma Neito so far had been easy as I had not left my classroom, after all he is definitely not from my class. If I had to guess, he is probably from my grade as I think I walked past him once or twice in the corridor on this floor level before. I could have asked Shinso about which class Monoma is from, but I didn't want to make myself sound suspicious to him.

It was finally lunch time. I asked Shinso and Mizuno to head to the cafeteria without me due to the fact that I really needed to use the toilet after holding in my bodily fluids for a long amount of time. It was a risk, but Monoma probably would have already gone to the cafeteria to snag the good seats and I also didn't want to embarrass myself in public by peeing and causing a mess.

I passed by the class 1A doors in order to go to the bathroom when I heard footsteps behind me. I immediately sped my pace up after that even though I didn't know who was following me, it could be Monoma or someone else. The footsteps got more rapid after I sped up, this proved that this person was definitely following me.

After going around the corner, I finally saw the bathroom doors and peeked behind me to see that it was indeed Monoma who was following me. With a few quick steps, I opened the bathroom door and slammed it close before he could even reach me.

He should have left right? I mean I finished doing my business and waited inside the cubicle for a few minutes, so he probably would have left. Plus, I didn't want to make Shinso and Mizuno wait too long for me. With that, I opened the bathroom door and guess who was leaning on the wall opposite the bathroom? Of course it was Monoma with his blond hair.

"What took you so long?"

"I was doing my business inside?" I awkwardly answered him wanting nothing but for him to leave me alone and call it a day.

I was slowly sidestepping away when he walked over and blocked my way. Well, there goes my escape route.

"You're Robin Hood, aren't you? There's no escaping from this." He muttered softly.

Oh no. It's confirmed. He knows who I am. What should I do? You know what, I can act clueless, I mean it does work sometimes right? I gripped my blazer with my sweaty palms before gulping nervously in preparation for my acting.

"What do you mean? I am not Robin Hood, definitely not Robin Hood. How can this be the same person as Robin Hood?" I chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of my head before making a run for it.

He pulled me back via my shoulder before whispering in my ear.

"You know I can tell everyone about that, right? You wouldn't want that to happen, would you?"

I held in my laugh as the sensation felt very weird, foreign and tickled the side of my face.

"Heheh, sorry it tickles. But just to clarify, I am not Robin Hood. I am a female while Robin Hood is clearly a male."

Hopefully that would sell the idea of me not being Robin Hood to him.

I heard a sigh before he let go of me.
