So hi guys, I have returned from my mancave to update once again. As you may or may not have noticed, I didn't update last week and I apologise for that. The reason behind this being that I was busy doing stuff in real life, actually I still would be pretty busy for the following weeks, so just a heads up, updates might be slower than normal. If I don't update on time, it means that I am busy with stuff, so don't worry about me dying or something, I am too much of a coward to die. That being said, I am very thankful for everyone who decided to click on my story, even though I don't update a lot, so thank you strangers and enjoy reading this chapter! :)
"The food from the stalls are overpriced, so overpriced." Muttered Mizuno as she shook her head in disappointment.
"Considering how much people and Pro Heroes come over to watch the UA sports festival annually, it is no shock that UA charges so much for their food, capitalism, am I righ——" I replied before getting cut off by an overly feminine voice.
"One box of takoyaki please." Said a young woman with purple horns extruding from her blonde hair.
"Oh, you're Mount Lady, aren't ya?! One box will be 500 yen!!" Enthusiastically replied the shopkeeper.
Oh, so she's the rising amateur Pro Hero, Mount Lady!! No wonder she looked familiar, I must have seen her somewhere before.
"Oh, I seem to have forgotten my wallet..." Moaned out Mount Lady loudly.
That stopped Mizuno and I from walking back to the first year sports stadium.
Has she no shame? I understand that new Pro Heroes usually start off rough in the financial department, but did she have to go so far?
I looked around and saw some parents guiding their children away from the scene.
There are children around as well... But if she really is struggling in the financial department, I suppose this tactic would work as she's got fame, beauty and a large heap of confidence on her side. Desperate times, desperate measures, am I right?
The shopkeeper immediately slapped the requested box of takoyaki into her hands and exclaimed "It's on the house!"
"Thanks!" Shouted back Mount Lady as she happily munched on the takoyakis given to her and left with a guy whose skin is made of wood, probably another Pro Hero by the looks of it.
"Ugh, I kinda want one now that I've seen the real product..." Groaned Mizuno.
"Then just get one." I replied as we continued our walk back to the stadium.
"But it's so expensive, I can easily get two boxes of those at any other place!"
I looked over only to see her puffing her cheeks out whilst stomping down the pavement.
"Or you know, you can do what Mount Lady did just now." I suggested.
"What do you mean? Even if I think it's not worth the price, I won't do what Mount Lady just did, I actually have pride."
Should I say it? Ah, screw it!
"Just a suggestion, I think you're pretty enough to pull it off."
