I am sorry for not uploading last week, I got stuck at a certain spot of this story and wasn't able to upload the new chapter on time. Thanks for reading!

"Guys—— guys, we gotta win this." Muttered Mizuno as she hopped up and down in anticipation for the recreational event of the sports festival, the scavenger hunt.

Shinso shoved his hands into his pockets, "And why is that?"

Mizuno pointed towards the prize table, "There's only one answer and it's free drinks."

The aforementioned prize table was occupied by multiple cartons of drinks and packs of snacks. A few of them I could recognize, seeing as they were usually placed into the display windows of the school cafeteria as products to sell to the student body of UA. If I had to guess, these drinks and snacks were probably close to their expiry date due to their roles as the leftovers of the school cafeteria store.

Midnight cleared her throat and raised her flogger style whip into the air.

"Before we start, please remember that fighting or maiming is not allowed, but quirks are! The cards on the ground contain whatever you need to search for and one card redeems a prize on that prize table! Bring the acquired item to me, so I can judge whether it's prize worthy or not! You got it?"

Whispers of "Whatever" and the like flowed through the air, reflecting the nonchalant attitude of the participants. It was compulsory for all the first years, except for the ones that were able to get into the third round, to participate in this activity, so it was no surprise that no one, except for Mizuno, cared for this scavenger hunt.

Midnight continued, "Well, I'm just going to assume that you guys are ready from that passionate response! You have fifteen minutes and the hunt starts now!"

With the over dramatic wave of Midnight's flogger style whip, the hunt had officially started. Students picked up cards left and right, trying to find the easiest card to complete to get the event over with. In contrast, Mizuno scrambled to pick up the nearest card, then sent Shinso and I, a nod of confirmation before running off to retrieve her item.

Reminded of my duty, I shook my head and kneeled down to grab a random card, getting dirt stuck under my fingernails in the process. Oh well, I shrugged, my hands were already covered in ink stains and pencil marks, what was dirt going to do to them?

I flipped the card over.

'Something sticky'

Looking around, I could hardly see anything that could be considered remotely sticky, which meant there was only one way for me to obtain an item that qualified for this topic. I sighed, not wanting to attract attention through the means of asking the audience for the aforementioned item. But still, I decided to do it at the end due to Mizuno's high hopes in me and Shinso's thumbs up of silent encouragement.

That's when a straight line of lily white appeared in the distance, stretching quite the long length to reach the audience to obtain an item or two from them.

It was the tape guy from Bakugo's team!

I swiftly changed my direction as I realised that he was the perfect answer to the card. I just needed some of his tape...

But he was an enemy, regardless of whether he cared about the hunt or not. Would he just willingly give me some of his tape if I asked nicely?

I sneaked closer to cut some of the distance away. He still didn't notice me since he was too busy retrieving the requested items with his quirk.

He probably wouldn't give me the tape, even if I asked nicely. But this was for Mizuno, right?

Seizing the perfect opportunity, I charged in with that thought in mind.
