Bakugo was still dancing of course, with his teammates laughing at him the whole time. Poor guy, I think he's going to become a meme after this and his friends are never going to let him live it down.
Eyeing my surroundings, I confirmed that indeed a lot of people were holding their phones up, trying to record the moment for themselves. Some of the older audiences looked confused, while the younger crowd looked delighted. I think I even saw a kid rubbing his hands together with a mischievous grin, probably planning some sinister plan that has to do with the one and only, Bakugo Katsuki.
Whilst Bakugo's teammates were busy laughing away at him, Monoma's team slipped away unnoticed to grab points from other distracted teams.
"Looks like the match is half over already! Class B is on the rise, but in the end... Who will wear the ten million point crown?!" Exclaimed Present Mic from his spot in the announcement box.
Feeling my hair stick up for a few seconds, I looked to search for the cause, which was Kaminari electrocuting half the teams on the battlefield. I winced, that looked painful and I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end anytime in the future. How does Ash Ketchum from Pokémon survive so many electrocutions from Pikachu anyways?
But good job Kaminar—
"That guy reminds me of Elsa, should I make a 'let it go' slogan for him? I am sure that young girls are gonna love him for that." Wondered Mizuno out loud as she pointed towards the rider of Kaminari's group, Todoroki Shoto.
Seeing the half and half hairstyle of Todoroki Shoto reminded me of the staple-piercing black headed man I met some time ago. If my memory served me right, that guy questioned me whether Todoroki Shoto was doing okay and honestly I still didn't know the answer to that, but given his chilling performance here, I assumed that he was. Still, that was a strange question to ask a complete stranger, what even is the connection between them, a dude with patches of wrinkled skin and a student of UA?
Todoroki Shoto was honestly a mystery to me. He has one of the most symmetrical faces I've ever seen, if I didn't count that distinct scar on his face and his mismatched eye colours. He looks like a good and serious student and probably is one too, and the surname, Todoroki, sounded familiar, almost as if I heard it from somewhere before. However, there's something that slightly aggravated me about him and I couldn't exactly pinpoint what that is, but if I had to take a guess, it would be how perfect he is. He just seems too perfect to actually exist in this world to the point where I believe he is hiding something.
Feeling Mizuno's impatient stare on me, I replied, "I think that the 'Let it go' slogan is going to work if he doesn't have flaming red hair. It's weird that he has flaming red hair when he has an ice quirk, ironic, don't you think?"
As if to prove my point, Todoroki immediately unleashed a wave of ice and cold, freezing the paralysed cavalry teams.
"He waited until they were stopped by Kaminari's shock before freezing them in place. I wouldn't expect any less, he must have recalled how many competitors managed to dodge his ice during the obstacle course." Commented the mummified Eraserhead.
The way he said he wouldn't expect any less... almost as if Todoroki was some big shot...
Ugh, he probably is a big deal and I still couldn't recall where I've heard of his surname before. I mean, look at his team members, they were all somewhat strong and strategically placed in a way that increased the stats of the team. Iida being the front horse of the team made sense, he was fast because of his quirk... Wait a second, if he's constantly speeding, then how does his glasses stay glued to his face all the time? It's like physics doesn't even apply to him anymore. Kaminari being the side horse made the team way less approachable and eliminated the unwanted. There was also this one girl, who I was pretty sure was the Vice President of Class 1A, providing them with roller skates and various weapons as the other side horse of the team. Overall, his team was well balanced in all categories, which meant that they have a huge chance winning and claiming first place.
