Her vacation in Singapore ended too fast. Ayaw pa man niyang umuwi ay wala siyang magagawa. Her brother only gave her five days to be with Caius. At gustuhin man niyang mag-extend pa ay hindi rin naman n'ya magagawa; Caius won't let her. Ito pa nga ang nag book ng ticket n'ya pauwi, dalawang araw pagkatapos niyang dumating roon.

"Namimiss na naman kita ng sobra," she told him, umaasang maaawa ito sa kan'ya at hahayaan siyang manatili muna kasama nito ng ilang araw pa.

But she was dismayed to see him shake his head and that small grin on his face. "We'll video call more often, okay?" he said.

Sumimangot naman siya. "I want to hold you, baby. Not just see you," she answered.

Caius laughed a bit and leaned on her. "I want more than touching, baby," he whispered in her ear. "Konting tiis pa po, please?" dagdag pa nito.

Nag-init naman agad ang sistema n'ya sa ibinulong nito. Kung wala lamang sila sa airport ay kanina n'ya pa ito nilundag. It didn't help he looks really dashing in his light brown sweatshirt and knee-length white shorts.

Ugh! Kairita.

"I'll see you on your graduation, okay?" he said. Bigla nalang nag liwanag ang kanyang paligid sa sinabi nito.

"You'll go home for my graduation?" she asked, surprised that he will be allowed to do so.

Ang alam n'ya kasi ay diretso ang kontrata nito sa Singapore na kagagawan din ng Kuya Jordan n'ya. And hearing that he will be on her graduation really excites her! Heck. That's only a few months from this day.

Caius nodded. "That's the condition I asked for instead of having an increase for my stay here after a year," he answered.

Naantig naman ang puso n'ya sa sinabi nito. "I love you," all she could say.

"I love you more," he answered.

She boarded on her flight with a slightly lighted heart. At least, she'll have something to expect in a few months. So as she comes back, she busies herself with her studies and work. Ganun parin naman ang routine n'ya, bahay-school-office. At dahil last semester na niya at OJT na, sa company na lang din nila siya mismo nag on the job training.

"Oh, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but my sister will never be a collateral for our company."

She heard what her brother said and when she tried to peek on whom he was having that conversation, she was surprised to see Ashton De Vera in there.

Ashton De Vera nodded and said, "I understand. I was just trying my luck."

Her brother shrugged. "It's fine. It honestly wasn't the first time someone offered me a merger in exchange for my sister's hand and just like yours, I declined them in a heartbeat. I might be strict but I'm not that cruel and heartless to do that to my sister; I still prioritize her happiness over anything," her brother answered.

Hearing those, she can't help but feel touched, knowing someone loves her unconditionally.

"I see. But I'm hoping that you won't stop me courting her?" Mr. De Vera said again.

Her brother then laughed because of that. "I'm sorry to disappoint you more but my sister is already engaged. She's engaged to Caius Lazarus," her brother answered.

And she can see how Ashton De Vera's brows furrowed. "Engineer Caius Lazarus? The heir of Lazarus Corporation?" he asked, wanting to be clarified.

Her brother did, he nodded with a smirk on his face. "Yeah. That guy and I'm telling you now that he's head over heels crazy for my sister. I didn't even know that they have been into each other since they were in high school!" Jordan boasted more, he was even shaking his head.

Hindi naman n'ya alam ang gagawin, kung papasok ba sa opisina nito at papasalan ang bibig ng kapatid para matigil sa kakadaldal o aalis na lang para hindi na niya marinig ang mga pinag-uusapan ng dalawa.

In the end, she chose the latter. She just went back to her desk and waited until the meeting of the two ended. And when it did, she immediately went to her brother's office.

"What's that for, Kuya? I heard what you were saying to Mr. De Vera," bungad n'ya rito.

Tinaasan naman agad s'ya nito ng kilay. "Chismosa ka na rin ngayon, Jordyn?" asar nito.

"Kuya naman! He was asking for me and you didn't agree. You also said that a lot have asked you the same but you declined," she said.

"Ano ngayon? Bakit gusto mo bang ipagkasundo na lang kita sa iba?" tanong naman nito.

She immediately shook her head. "Of course, not! Baliw ka ba?" sagot naman n'ya.

Jordan shook his head and waved his hand on her, gesturing her to leave his office. "Bumalik ka na nga sa trabaho mo," sabi pa nito.

She sighed and shook her head as well. "I can't believe you declined a lot of offers for me. Grabe, na-touch ako run ng very light. I didn't know you loved me this much, kahit nakakairita ka madalas," sabi naman n'ya, pabiro.

"Asa ka," sagot naman ng kapatid n'ya. "It just happened that I already signed a merger with the Lazarus Corporation. Huwag kang masyadong feeling," dagdag naman nito.

She snorted on what he said but smiled eventually. "Asus! Deny ka pa, narinig ko kaya mga sinabi mo," asar n'ya pa lalo, tumatawa pa. "Thanks, Kuya. I love you," dagdag n'ya ng makabawi sa pang-aasar.

Jordan rolled his eyes. "I love you too. Bumalik ka na sa trabaho bago pa mag bago ang isip ko," sagot nito. Natatawa naman siyang sumunod sa utos nito. She went back her desk and worked energetically.

"Will you tell that to Kuya?" Van asked her. Ikinuwento kasi n'ya rito iyong narinig n'yyang usapan ng Kuya Jordan n'ya at ni Ashton De Vera.

She shrugged. "Kailangan ba? I don't think it's relevant," she answered/

Van shook her head answered, "You should. Kasi alam mo, may history iyang si Kuya at Ashton. Wala ka na nun sa Saint Martin's kaya 'di mo na alam 'yun."

"Oh? What about?" sge curiously asked.

"I'm not sure but it's not about girls, okay? I will ask Easton na lang if you don't want to tell Kuya about it," Van answered.

"I will tell him, now that you informed me about their misunderstanding before, I think I really should tell him. I don't want him to feel uncomfortable because I'm around someone he had a feud years back," she said.

Van nodded. "Alam mo, hindi man mag sabi 'yan si Kuya pero napakaseloso n'yan. Even if he die, he won't tell you that he's jealous. Takot kasi s'yang isipin mong possessive s'ya, na baka masakal ka sa kan'ya," sabi pa nito.

Agad naman siyang umiling. "You know I won't let that happen, right? I have dreamed of him to waste this chance," she answered.
