Things, indeed, happen spontaneously and for a reason. Caius didn't know how to contain his over flowing feeling; he felt excited, nervous and happy at the same time.

Parang tanga lang, hindi naman ito ang unang beses na makikita n'ya si Jordyn pero sobrang tensed n'ya.

"Is everything ready?" he asked his friends; they are helping him with his surprise.

"Yes, boss!" Easton answered.

This guy-he doesn't know how he will address him. Basta ang alam n'ya lang, kinalimutan nito ang pagkakaibigan nila para sa kapatid n'ya. He was furious at first, but who he is to get in between the two. What important is, Easton changed and he sincerely loves his sister, iyon lang ay sapat na sa kan'ya.

"I don't know why I had to be part of this. Fuck! You didn't even have the audacity to ask me first if I was okay with this," Maverick complained.

He walked to him and put his arms around his shoulder. "I know you're fine with this, you wouldn't be here in the first place if you weren't," he said.

Maverick freed himself and stepped back. "You're the biggest asshole I have ever known," it said to him.

Natawa s'ya sa sinabi nito. "I know, but I'm still your best friend," he answered.

Noong naging girlfriend ni Maverick si Jordyn, akala n'ya ay wala nang pag-asang mangyari pa silang dalawa ng babaeng mahal na mahal n'ya. He was ready to forget her but maybe, fate still favors him. It may sound worst, but somehow, he was happy when the two broke-up. He thought that finally, he would have his chance.

But he had to wait; to wait until the feelings of the two for each other subsided, plus, he had to search for Jordyn's whereabouts. And the day he finally learned where she is was one of the happiest days of his life, for him, it's the beginning of their story. But Jordyn was being so difficult at first, it didn't even want to be associated with him.

Fuck.

Hindi n'ya masukat kung gaano katindi ang sakit na nararamdaman n'ya nang sabihin nitong ayaw na nitong maugnay sa kahit kanino sa kanilang lahat. Buti na lamang ay may alas parin siya laban dito, he used his sister to get to her.

Everything that happened wasn't easy. He had to go through a lot of challenges and struggles. He even had to bear being away from her for another three years so they would have Jordyn's brother's approval. Naiintindihan n'ya naman, alam naman niyang maging masama lamang sa kan'ya ang Kuya Jordan nito dahil sa kasalanan n'ya rin. Jordyn lost of what she worked hard for choosing him giving him no reason to complain.

"Everything's already set," Gavin announced. "You get ready," he added, pointing at him. He nodded.

"They are here," Grant announced.

Agad naman silang umayos lahat at nag puntahan sa mga pwesto nila.

"Ayusin nyo, ha." Utos n'ya n'ya sa mga kaibigan.

Umalma naman ang mga ito ngunit sumunod din.

Today, he'll be proposing to Jordyn. Tatlong taon na rin ang nakakalipas simula noong umalis siya papuntang Singapore, at ngayon nga ay matutupad na n'ya ang pangako n'ya sa babaeng pinakamamahal n'ya.

He was smiling nervously as he tried to remember his speech.

Si Jordyn, s'ya lang talaga ang babaeng pinangarap n'ya mula noon. At kahit bata pa siya, alam niyang ito lang talaga ang gusto niyang makasama. Luckily, he was given a chance for that dream to come true. After thirteen long years. Finally. Hinding-hindi na niya  palalampasin pa ang pagkakataong ito.

He will make her his wife and he will do everything to make her happy the rest of their lives.
