Chapter 10

Alexis' POV

"Do.. do you really?" I said shyly. He smiled warmly.

"I really do. I want to be with you... no, I need to be with you." He sighed.

"Didn't know you had this soft side, Raph.." I giggled. He chuckled and leaned in closer to my face.

"Only for you, Alexis." He whispered, his lips brushing over mine lightly, his warm breath on my face making me shiver slightly. My breath caught in my throat as he kissed me passionately. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling his mask tails, bringing him closer so my body is up against his. His arms wrapped around my waist, holding me close and tight. We both pulled away catching our breath.

"Wow.." we both sighed.

Raph's POV

Alexis and I had just shared our second kiss. But this time, I felt something more. I felt my heart actually skipping beats.

"Raph?" She said, her angelic voice making my heart flutter.

"Mhm?" I mumbled. She sighed, grabbing my hand.

"Thank you." She smiled. I gazed into her ocean blue eyes.

"For what?" I asked.

"Saving me.. ya know... from Shredder.. you could have just left me there to die." She looked down. I lifted her chin.

"I'd rather take my own life than watch you die. You mean life to me." I kissed her forehead. "That being said... Alexis will you be my girlfriend?" She smiled.

"Of course Raphael." She said, gleaming as she blushed as red as my mask as I kissed her lips again.

"I love you." I whispered against her lips.

"I love you too." She whispered against mine, smiling. I rested my forehead on hers.

Alexis' POV

"Hey. You don't have to sleep on the floor. This is your room. Sleep up here with me." I pouted as I watched Raph try to get comfortable on the floor. He looked at me.

"Are you sure Lex?" He asked, standing up. I nodded.

"Of course!" I giggled. "C'moooonnnnnn!" I pulled my puppy dog beggy face. He sighed and rolled his eyes playfully.

"Okaayyyy move over." He chuckled. He lifted the red blanket and crawled in next ro me. He faced me and smiled. I returned the smile as I shifted closer to him. I nuzzled my face onto his plastron. He wrapped his big arms around me. For the first time in forever, I felt safe. I sighed happily.

"Goodnight Raphael." I whispered sleepily.

"Goodnight baby girl." He whispered into my hair. We both fell asleep cuddled up to each other.

Normal POV

God I love her so much. Raphael thought as he drifted into deep slumber.

Never thought I'd fall for a turtle... he's everything I've ever needed. Alexis thought as she too drifted into a deep sleep
