Chapter 13

Alexis followed Leo to his room and  he shut the door.

"I haven't said a word about this in a very long time." He sighed. "I met this girl about a year ago. Savanna. She was in the Foot." She nodded.

"I heard stories about a Savanna from Karai." She stated, making a disgusted face at Karai's name.

"Well.. I fell in love with her,  and she fell in love with me. I don't know how it happened. But she had planned on ditching her clan. Just like you." He said. She nodded.

"Continue.."

"She got captured. She was topside, buying food and stuff for the lair. They took her to their HQ and tortured her until she cracked and confessed to hanging with me and my brothers." He lowered his head.

"Oh..."

"They told her that if she didn't reveal our location, they would kill her. Painfully." She saw a tear drop from his eye.

"Oh my god.." she gasped.

"Needless to say.. she kept her mouth shut." He sighed, wiping his now fluent tears. "I just.. don't want Raph to go through the same pain I went through." She quickly wrapped him in a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry Leo." She sighed. He hugged her tight as well.

"I'm sorry for making you feel unwelcome. You have to stay. For Raph. He loves you, I can tell he does, with all of his heart."

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"I'm absolutely positive. Raph needs you, and everyone loves having you around. Even me." He smiled. "Just promise you won't go topside without a weapon." She giggled.

"I promise." She smiled. They both walked out and Alexis ran into Raph's arms. He held her tightly.

"What happened?" Raph asked Leo.

"I told her." Leo said sternly.

"About...?" Raph cocked his 'eyebrow'.

"'Vanna." He sighed.

"Ohhh... that's why you don't want her her.."

"I want her here.. I see how miserable you'd be if she had to leave, so she's staying." Leo smiled. Raph cracked a snall grin. He buried his face into Alexis' hair.

"I love you." He mumbled to her.

"I love you too." She mumbled and smiled wide, earning an 'aww' from everyone. Raph glared at them.

"What?!" Mikey spoke up. "It's cute, bro!"

"Sure Mikey sure." Alexis smirked.
